Happy day. It's listed for me under "Registered Game Promotions"...and I'm now able to use the item in game (xbox 360). I had to exit out completely and restart the game...but it looks it's available now!

Do we need to download the updated armor, or will it do it in-game?  Perhaps the update fixes the graphical errors with some character variants using the armor (I think there was a downloadable fix in the tech support forum, but it makes sense they would want to properly update the DLC)?

Also, I haven't gotten the Edge yet - it will probably take time to add it to all people's accounts.

The Blood Dragon Armor did show up under Download Progress in-game for me, and I guess that is the v1.1 since I had it Installed already, plus the fact that it says Released 18/11/2009 instead of the previous 3/11/2009. No "The Edge" yet here either, but so far I have only seen XBOX360 and PS3 players stating they've gotten it, so I guess it's working its way through a list (possibly consoles first? But most likely just a huge list of gamers).

Edit: The post below me is a PC user, so it's just taking some time to distribute it to all registered gamers I guess.

The updated armor downloaded by itself in game for me a day or two ago.

It was a quick update (maybe you already got it?), and I only noticed it because I have to manually start Bioware's Windows DRM service (it shuts down when exiting the game, but never starts back up after launching the game a 2nd or more times), so I happened to be checking that DLC screen frequently.

The Edge showed up for me after I manually installed it from the link provided yesterday.  However, just within the past hour or so, it now appears on my entitlements page on the website here, so I'd imagine more and more folks will be seeing it in-game shortly.  You'll need to ensure the DRM service is running to get either the Blood Dragon Armor update or The Edge though.

Why does it have to be account by account? I mean why not have it be free for every account that already exists? Ok some might have bought it today and are technically a day too late, but does that really matter?

Or are they afraid that the servers couldn't handle that many downloads at once? If so, what will happen when return to ostagar comes out? Will people have to wait for days after buying it?

I've played a few times over the last few days, so the updated armor may be there; is there any way to check?  In any case, I'm probably going to start the game whenever the Edge is added to my profile and then see whether the Edge or the updated Blood Dragon Armor download.  I finished my first playthrough last night, and I'm surprisingly eager to play it through again (I usually don't play the same game through back to back for RPGs).

Thanks for the links, whoever posted it. It's not in my list yet. My co-worker has it and I saw it on his profile. I'm still waiting for a response from EA because I never got my Amulet of the War Mage outside of Dragon Age Journeys.

It is now 3:00pm Mountain Time and it still is not yet available for me to download. the Game is in my "Registered Games tab" thing. I have had problems with EA's servers through my X360 gamertag prior to this. But I guess that could be half the problem because it shows most of m characters but all in starter gear while my current profile pic character is in the best armor/1h swords with dlc in the game. I blame EA for all these shortcomings.

So, some weird things.



The release data on v1.1 of Blood Dragon Armor says 18 November, but it's never appeared for me in-game. I verified that the DAUpdater service is running, but nothing. I just installed it manually, but I'm annoyed that I had to do so. What are the changes, anyway?



Also, I was just prompted to accept the ToS when I started my game. Which I did back on release day! Why did that pop up again?



Finally, still no The Edge for me.

Okay, but it says that the new policy is active as of a few weeks ago.  It's really not acceptable to inform me about changes weeks after they happen.
