Just checked for mine and got it. After the games loaded up before you choose 'Resume/Load Game/Downloadable Content' etc you might want to try logging out then back in to your DA account in the bottom left of the screen. Good luck to those still trying.

Registered CE (at launch): No Edge - same DLC chaos as in the beginning with the preorder "bonuses" it seems.



Frankly at this point I no longer care about any DLC they bring out for this game at all (haven't even played Stone Prisoner after I read about all the game breaking bugs some people experience). I'll finish the game as it is and then move on to another game.

Perfect timing for me. I just started my second play through using an elf rogue.

Let me translate this:

Wah. I bought the game before this promotion came out, and I didn't get the cool free item, I'm ticked off! I'm making up issues with preorder bonuses to make myself seem to be taking the high road. I'm also making up stuff about how Stone Prisoner is breaking people's games, I'm going to take my ball and go home.

Let me correct a few points:

All games have bugs. Stone prisoner doesn't specfically cause any, though a couple of the patches (or being without them) might, take your chances either way. There's been problems with DLC, but there is an entire thread in the tech support forums with a ton of solutions to get your stuff installed and downloaded, if your preorder bonuses didn't/don't work, it's because of a DLC download/authorization issue, and that thread will fix 99% of them, as will some upcoming patches.

If you want to be a baby about it, by all means, do, but don't tell the rest of us about it, it's just lame.

I have that as well. Did you complete all of the achievements on DA Journeys? If so, my guess is that it's the neck piece that has yet to show up in-game.

Just be patient guys and gals. I was just a while ago and then had to reload an old save (about 15 mins ago) and 'The Edge' was magically in my inventory! :-)

No, it's not. Amulet of the war mage was missing for my case, but after e-mailing DA Journeys, the amulet was shown and Unrecognized item still there.

OK so I have finally figured out how to get the character creator running and now have 10/17 possible downloads.......and still awaiting for my 11th item......which is supposed to be the Edge.

European launch day registered PC CE and no Edge.



I did get the second terms agreement and Blood Dragon Armor patch.

Oh and the Unrecognized Item is now listed under the PC version of my "Registered Game Promotions".....even though I do not own the PC version of the game and it wasn't there before I got the Character Creator and I have all the DAJ flash game items.....



This leads me to conclude that the Unrecognized Item is either the Character Creator itself or its saves.

I am still not seeing the Edge. I've tried restarting the game and loading older character saves. Its not showing up in my registered promo stuff. I'm playing on a X360.

Might want to try shutting the console off, giving it about 30 seconds or so, and then starting it back up. I know at release you had to do some playing around to get DLC to work on the PC. Not sure if that will help, but hopefully it might.

Look for a The Edge download (it's a .dazip) and install it manually. I did it that way and now it works.

I got The Edge too yesterday. The funny thing is that I didn't even know, that there is a dagger DLC, but the game automatically downloaded it. I was surprised that there is a new weapon in my inventory.

the game keeps telling me that Can't connect to profile storage Information given may be invalid". which is bogus since my characters have been updated on the website. I have had problems with the EA servers before with the same gamertag. But Im not sure if thats a problem or not.

I've the same version so I just installed it manually.

Just download the dazip file manually (a link to a post with all the DLC dazip files is in this thread somewhere, page 2 or 3) and run the daupdater.exe file with it manually and hey presto.

Worked like a charm for me last night.
