Hm, I'd thought this was one of those proprietary DLCs, the EA store version as opposed to Steam or D2D and so on. Evidently not.



From seeing it in the wiki I always thought it was the most unreasonably powerful of the free items, actually. Excepting maybe Blood Dragon Armor, although by the time I can equip that I generally have something equivalent.

When I started Dragon Age today on my 360, it said in the bottom left corner of the menu screen that New Downloadable Content was available. When I accessed the downloadable content, it said to the right of The Edge that I had already purchased it. So I downloaded it for free. I can only assume it was part of the promotional code offer for The Blood Dragon Armor, but I could be wrong. Either way, I got it for free!

You think that is overpowered? You must have never heard of the Rose's Thorn and the Veshialle. The Edge is average to mild compared to those two.

Yep, if you play Dragon Age Journeys and complete all of the achievements in it you'll unlock three items, though only two of them are currently showing up in-game.

What? All 3 of the Dragon Age Journeys items work for me and have since the first day the game came out.

Thanks, I found trying to start that service that it was missing, so followed another link and got it I think.
Strange.. I hope I get the edge as well, I see on my entitlement page, having the 3 things listed but not the edge!

Note: I had to actually reinstall the service, first use sc delete DAUpdaterSvc, then go into the latest .net folder with the installutil and run the daupdatersvc.service.exe from the bin_ship folder.

Well I missed this, totally my bad though. With all the signing up and code inputing I had to do on day 1 I guess I thought my game was registered. I also didn't get an email about this item, just found out about it today, but again that's my bad since I haven't been reading the forums as much since I beat it. Registered now though, waiting for the next one.

Hi I've had the game for alittle over a week now, but I never offically registered the game till today, does that mean I missed out on the weapon, even though I've been playing and all my info has been going through? I'm just trying to clear this up.

Then you're one of the lucky few so be quiet and go sit in a corner somewhere. Tons of people....including myself....couldn't even log-in for a month after release and then when I did log in only two of the three unlocked items were credited to my account and then I had to email the DAJ team for help and wait some more before I finally got the third item. A very very frustrating and upsetting experience.

Even now the better half of the people that play DAJ and unlock all three items do not have the amulet of the war mage credited to their account propperly....there's a problem with the unlock.
