The question Is how do i get it on the ps3 version of the game? is says i'm able to have it.

I have the Asian Collectors Edition and all of the DLC are installed, but The Edge is not appearing in the available content screen. I am logged in as I was during the initial installment of the game to get the DLC for the Collectors Edition. I am following the same procedure but The Edge clearly does not make itself available automatically. At least it hasn't for me.

So, does this mean us console users who COULDN'T register our games earlier (when the social site was going through all the teething troubles it had and refused to accept many 360 CE barcodes) are simply "out of luck"? That's pretty poor, really.



I bought the game at release in Australia and immediately went online to register, but it didn't work. I tried for a few days in fact, all with no result. Reading a few posts, I saw I wasn't the only one, so after several days, I just thought I'd wait until the site was working. Normally I don't bother with game registrations, but I've done so with all my past BW games because they make it feel like its worthwhile. Now, the one time it IS tangibly worthwhile, I get shafted because of a technical/website error? After reading this thread I went straight to register and this time it DID work... of course too late for the 30th deadline.



I'd appreciate a mod or BW person getting in touch to explain how this is fair, as I am rather annoyed at this. PC users can just install these things themselves, but console users are at the mercy of things working right the first time.



I've always admired BW's games in the past, but this time all these little hoops to jump through and things not working (unable to upload from Character Creator, unable to log in to Journeys, etc.) are casting a rather nasty shadow.

I gave up on my console version of the game because of all the dlc i couldnt get,i wouldnt mind paying a few ms points to get them all,which might rekindle my interest,otherwise i think im pretty much finished with dragon age.just hope they dont get so extra item mad with mass effect 2.

I got and registered my copy of DAO: Digital Deluxe the day it went in the Black Friday sale on Steam (I think), or at least on payday so it was certainly before the 30th. I don't have "The Edge" on my Game Promotion list. I have:

Warden's Keep

The Stone Prisoner

BD Armor

Amulet of the War Mage

Embri's Many Pockets

The Lucky Stone

Unrecognised Item



That accounts for the 1 item I get for Character Creator, 2 from DA: Journeys (I only unlocked 2 IIRC) and the two lots of DLC.



Also noticed the Digital Deluxe edition on the DAO website is advertised with 3 other items, none of which I've ever seen in-game. I might have them, but I don't know. Any way to check?

I'm not saying this will work, but it is worth a try.

My copy of 'The Edge' came after I used the configure option then under 'repair' I cleared the download cache. After starting the game I did a refresh on the main screen and it appeared on my downloaded list. It's a good dagger so I hope you can get it.

Mine just showed up the other day. I didn't know what the heck it was (no description, developer, etc. info) so I almost deleted it! Finally figured the only ones updating my DLC would be Bioware, and went "what the heck" and did it. I've had the game for almost a month and a half now, so I think this may have been the slowest delivery of DLC ever!

I'm a PS3 user, got my game (pre-ordered Collector's Edition) and registered on the 13th Nov when it came out. I received the email from EA about the "Edge" about a week later.

Up to today i've yet to see the item either in the openning page or in-game. I've emailed EA, about 1 month ago, and yet to receive any reply on whether i can or cannot get the item.

Any PS3 user who have received the item please advice.

hmmm I'm on the 360 and the website wouldn't recognize my bar code the first few times I tried to register. I finally got in in, but that was december 2nd or so... :sadface:

Actually it's pretty much the best dagger in the game. And hardly much use at the beginning unless you miraculously started with 26dex.

I had This edge Item... and now it is not there and I can not load any of mu games... It is not listed there for can not be redownloaded. I need a way to get this downloaded again as to continue playing my characters...

I have purchased several Bioware games but have not registered a single one since any addtional information is none of their business. Apparently buying the software is not enough to become a first class member of the community. It is too bad that they chose to limit access to the forums for that reason.



[The makers of "Buggerfall" probably would not even exist today if not for their user community correcting the software until it was playable. The company did not even come close to getting it right.]
