 I've listened to all the songs posted so far. OP's was good, but I agree with this one...

Try playing Vigil and immediately afterwards, play this. I'm not sure if you guys will notice it, but it somehow fits in a powerful first couple minutes, yet it soothes into a subtle silence of triumph. It's pretty nice.

Edit: Also try stopping Vigil at 2:02. It's a good finish.

I do like the idea of having something like most of this stuff at the end credits but I do think they will go for the cinematic style of music composed by Clint Mansell for it.

that guy is wierd but wow... that was a good song. would be pretty good as the ending song.

Like I said, maybe the theme of the song is a bit too dark for a credits song, but the instrumentals in thats song are amazing and really fit Mass Effect.

That's the first song I've heard from this band and I must say....it's amazing.

It's good, but it doesn't sound like Mass Effect to me.

I'd rather hear a M4P1/P2 remix or another Faunts song during the final level itself. (whatever it may be)

Whatever should happen I hope that the Faunts song isn't used. The credits from the first were a fantastic, wholesome experience that shouldn't be rehashed and should be left in its own right. If they find another equally great song to use then it just provides another one of "those" moments.

Really like the OP's suggestion for "Vengeance." However, I think the ending song should really fit with the conclusion to the series. Since it's Mass Effect, I would hope that there is some type of huge revelation about the Reapers or about what needs to be done that dwarfs anything from the first two games. The ending should definitely not be Star-Wars-ROTJ-Ewok-style; it should be bittersweet, possibly with Shepard dead.

Since Bioware has collaborated with 30 Seconds to Mars before, some instrumental, epic version of Hurricane would be cool for a less-than ideal, bitter ending

Vengeance (as OP suggested) could be good if it fit with the narrative content in ME3.

Otherwise, I'm sure Clint Mansell can whip up something epic/bittersweet, since he has a good track record for that.

M4 pt2 was good because it was unexpected imo. Clint Mansell is capable of creating some epic scores though, this is one of his songs that Bleach used
