I went to File Hippo and downloaded Direct X 9 but when I try to install it it asks for a file to put it in and I'm just giving my C drive. At this point I haven't installed NWN2 yet because DX9 needs to be in place, so I don't know what to do here? Sorry, please help, and thank you.

Just pick whatever it defaults to and you will be fine. I'm assuming File Hippo is asking you where you want to download the installer. Once you download it, run it and accept defaults.

It never did give me a default location, made me pick a Folder right off the bat, so I chose the Downloads folder. Appears to have worked this time. Moving on to intalling MotB., and a accepted the default it gave me to temporary download.
But I have another question. This is the third time my computer has given me grief, so before I run out of my extended downloads for MtoB and SoZ, is it ok to just save the exe file or should I recopy the entire program once it executes?
