I´m tired of seeing clothes and armor "molten" with the skin of the characters, that and I would like to know with what acid they wash their clothes?

Seriusly, I have to use texmod (wich is a crap because is a fps killer) with JeanLuc´s textures wich are the most awesome thing that a I saw. B)

I think PC deserves something better than limited console graphics.

Bioware does not care about PC gamers.

They keep a written log of the many sufferances of PC gamers in some unholy shrine deep within Bioware HQ to serve as a constant inspiration to their console-biased development team. :o

What you really want is HD Textures + DX11, akin to Crysis 2. *cough*

What we want are the original textures, not the twice-ported textures we end up getting.
Hi-res texture created.
Condensed, and ported across to xbox.
Ported back to PC.

Modern PC's are capable of handling the original textures, but for some reason we cant use them. Possibly because the outcry from the console herd would be too loud for anyone in EA/Bioware to bear.

Bioware later released a hi-res texture pack for Dragon Age 2 (I give it an 8/10)....perhaps ME3 on the PC will at least get the same treatment.

Yeah but is almost stupid if that happens, I mean instead of complaining, why don´t they just learn something about computers.

Too lazy is my guess. I ran across a topic the other day where an xbox user was complaining about his dashboard nxe lagging. According to him, that's supposed to happen on PC's, and never on consoles. :P

The problem with porting console textures to PC is that the game will fall behind the times as far as PC is concerned. It's happened with DA2 even with the high-res package Bioware released, which is, not very high-res at all. Every port should have a version of the game that plays to its strengths, rather than using the lower port version for all. Of course, this wouldn't be very cost-healthy.

All i'm saying is that console players make do with what appareantly pc gamers consider mediocre, or just ok, yet we still have a blast gaming and are where most games are now for the most part made for and simply updated for pc, why are graphics such a huge deal? I can barely tell the difference between a good game on a console and a good game on pc

Consoles have the insides of a 4 years old Personal Computer without any hardware upgrades thus video games are developed for retarded technology. End of story and a sad face, it's not pointless crap - it's sad that the whole industry is halted by stone-age hardware.

lmao, so true, I had to get glasses due to my pc gaming phase

EDIT: @Mr.Kusy (I forgot how to qoute again :( ) it seems like pointless crap to me, on my console i can game perfectly fine and get as much out of the experience as any pc gamer with the convenience of not having to upgrade my pc every 5 seconds, and a lower price. graphics is such a minimal part of a game, what happened to actually enjoying gameplay and story?  also i resent your use of the word retarded, but acknowledge your point

They did implement DX11 in DragonAge II, so we more than likely will expect to see it on the PC version of Mass Effect 3.

High Res textures would be a nice touch to complement the DX11 Tessellation when showing High-Polygon models (whether characters or environment). And since modern GPU's have more than 512 MBs of RAM, the good people at Bioware should not feel limited with memory size as much.

But what would really impress me (and make the people of Bioware Gods in my opinion), is if Bioware took a step further for the PC release of Mass Effect 3 and implement advanced GPU accelerated PhysX
effects for maximum environmental interaction. They already used the
PhysX
Engine in the previous two releases on the CPU level, why not take
it up a notch?

Never said they didn't, it's just that the high-res package is still very low-res. Some of the textures remind me of the days of Counter-Strike 1.6.

True. But, imo, that was more a nod to the PC community saying "see DA is still for the PC crowd just like DA:O". The Mass Effect series has never tried to be a resurection of old PC-RPGs. ME was always a console game that just happened to also be on PC (like so many games today).

I don't think we'll see high-res textures for ME3. I will be happy if they at least make use of the keyboard and don't try to crowbar in those clunky gamepad controls.

A toolset would be 1000x more appreciated than a texture pack, but also 1000x more unlikely.

Anyway, it would be a nice touch, a high res texture pack. But it's hardly a game breaker. On the other hand, it's probably not difficult. Other companies do it all the time.

Thing is, DirectX 9 has been around for almost a decade. It's way, way outdated.
