I know Jacob can.

What about Jack? If you turn her down in the SM romance scene, does she leave you?

I actually like this element of unpredicability, because it makes the characters more believable, rather than people who you can just "choose whatever speech option you like, because you will still get them." People have things that will turn them off too.

I thought Jacob was the only character who could actually dump you. I could be wrong though.... If you turn Jack down before the suicide mission she cries and says, "What the hell Shepard? Why do this to me? Maybe I'm just too much for you to handle." and leaves. It actually is one of the more emotional scenes in the game for me considering everything Jack has been through just to have Shep treat her like that. I never really considered that her dumping you though, because Shep is the one that says something like, "It's not my job to fix you."

Samara is an example of what I would like to see more of in Bioware games: characters that *could* theoretically have a romance with the protagonist, but who choose not to. It honestly does a lot to alleviate the creepy dating-sim feel a lot of the other dialogue paths have.

Yes, and this doesn't surprise me, considering Shepard pretty much tells Jack to go away. Going away when being told to go away isn't anything special.

Anyway, here's the list

1. Kaidan/Ashley - if you press them too hard on the topic of aliens and don't manage to convince them, they will leave you. If you suggest a threesome with Liara, they will leave (Liara will stay).
2. Jacob - If you press him too hard on his past, he will leave you.
3. Tali/Jack/Miranda - side with the other person in their confrontation.

Everyone else has no breaking point after the romance starts.
Samara is not dumping Shepard because they were never involved in the first place.

The rest of them neither, they are just a potential something at that point

Meh. In-game, the people I listed (Kaidan/Ashley/Jacob/Tali/Miranda/Jack) had their romances active at the time, and they deactivate if you do what I listed.

I disagree, but i guess that could depend on the point of view ^_^

Nevertheless Samara reject you when you try to persue her, and that is just awesome
