If you didn't install the Zaeed DLC, will he appear in ME3?

3. He's a pretend Soldier.
Compared to Grunt or even Ashley, he can't do the job as well as they can.
And his abilities aren't even worth considering, since (as a Soldier), I have them all anyway!

Is this from a gameplay or story perspective? Because from a story perspective Zaeed would own Grunt (he has slain many skilled Krogan warriors- he knows their exact weaknesses) and he would absolutely destroy Ashley. In battle he is more effective than both.

Zaeed is a badass, IMO one of the coolest squadmates who has a long, complex and interesting history and background. I sincerely hope that he and Kasumi make an appearance in ME3 even if it is only a brief one at that.

He hates Batarians?
Okay, one more reason for me to kill him then!

I'm not in favor of any form of species bias.

No, he was against Vido recruiting batarians into the blue sons. It's likely that these were former slavers and terrorists (most batarians skilled in combat who live outside the hegemony are raiders and pirates). So when Zaeed called them "goddamn terrorists" this wasn't bias against the species but a dislike of the individuals recruited by Vido (who probably were goddamn terrorists).

Personally, I made sure to not install the Zaeed DLC, because I didn't want this character in my game.
So, I'm not going to be very happy if he's forced upon me without choice.

In that case, I'll go back to ME2, install the DLC and kill him off, then start a new ME3 playthrough with that savegame so he won't appear!

Yet in ME1 you were forced Kainde, Ashley, either Garrus or Wrex (one is optional but you need one to continue), Tali and Liara.. no complains.

Yet you were FORCED Garrus, Grunt, Miranda, Jacob, Jack and Mordin in ME2... no complains. (Tali, Thane, Samara and Legion are optional.)

But a free DLC character appears and OH NO! I don't want him! Ew gross... kick him out....

No, Zaeed didn't fail the loyalty test. You as the player failed the loyalty test. You screwed up not Zaeed.

And you know you can still get his loyalty even if Vido gets away.

I mean, if you don't like him, you don't like him. That's fine, but don't dislike Zaeed because you couldn't figure that out.

You say Zaeed is highly suspicious because you couldn't get his loyalty...lol. No. It just means you, the player, screwed up.

EPIC WIN.

ALSO GOOR SIR! It is not a "test" but a "I need your help...". and you failed. You have to be high LIKE SUPER HIGH Paragon to save the workers and keep his loyalty. Plus it doesn't matter... even with my Paragon I say "screw the workers" because my mission was to get revenge...

You also failed Jack's because you either were not high Paragon/Renegade at the time (to remain on a neutral side, so you chose Miranda's aka the "cerberus" side) but were when it came to Tali/Legion argument.

People who didn't install Zaeed should receive a penalty for not recruiting the best squadmate in the game.

He's not the best but he's one of the best, that's for sure. But I like your point. How about ME 3 won't launch or you won't be able to save the game if you don't have Zaeed installed :devil:
