So, i am the owner of the original NWN 2 DVD. Recently i found out that my DVD is no more functional as data from it could not be written into hard drive. In this typical situation a customer could ask the publisher to replace it right? Well, it is more likely for me to become a millionaire than for Atari to care about this situation..
We all know Atari support does not exist, and their forums are completely dead - i was a member of bioware forums since 2006, owner of NWN 2 games and i always got my topics full of replies, but in Atari forum some of my questions remained dead for years..

What can i do? Of course wanting to play NWN 2 gain, i could not afford to buy the same game again, so i downloaded it from torrent, hoping that my original cd key would work - but no! The original cd key did not work.
So i guess i will have to use a pirate cd key in order to install the game? Not the way i wanted...

Well, this is not my fault, i am just explaining why you should not blame people for sometimes geting warez.

You can get the whole thing, including both expansions, for less than $20 on Steam. It's currently $13, and they have the occasional $10 sale.

Yes it stinks, but piracy is not the answer, backup copies are the answer.

13 $ is very low for 3 games, i wish only that it had been on something other than steam.

Backup copies - yes, that is the most logic way when the original DVD is "broken", and there would be no need for a pirate cd key.
