Patching File NWN2RulesLib.dll
Old File Does Not Exist
...

Can anybody explain WTH is going on?
I never had problems with patching. All of the patches, those i've got from IGN, i have downloaded in my NWN 2 folder, and now patching from it.

If i need this missing dll file, where can i get it without BS advertisment to install some sort of cleaning program?

Maybe it's detecting your copy, you said in the previous thread that you are trying to use a pirated copy. I know youve said you dont like Steam. I personally bought a Drm free digital download of nwn2 elsewhere (though I have the Steam version installed currently).

The patching error probably came from the fact, that i installed the game ignoring the broken data4.cab file from original DVD.

In the middle of install, i got en error displaying that the install would be terminated due to data4.cab not being recognized or something like that...

I had the option to retry, abort or ignore.

I chose ignore - i guess that caused patching problems...

And btw, i donwloaded NWN from torrent, but i have bough it before and have the original cd key.

Downloading games from torrent does not always mean they are pirate stuff.

Just because you have a key does not make the torrent legit. In the 8 months since you posted this thread, surely you could have scrounged up the $10 to get a legit copy. In fact, this weekend you can do that for $7.

My dad tried to re-install NWN2 and had problems with patchign. He finally had to re-install the OS which worked. A lot of trouble to go through, though.

You are quite brainless. Publishers sometimes offer torrent downloads separately from purchasing keys. In fact it was the case with NWN - i remember clearly that direct2drive actually offered you to purchase NWN cd keys and the download of NWN was a separate thing in torrent. So your theory of repurchasing games again probably works for you best; perhaps you are a fan of retail DVD, i can understand that then.
