September consumer show GAMEfest will play host to a playable build of BioWare's Mass Effect 3 and DICE's Battlefield 3.

So:
June: E3
July: ComicCon
August: GamesCon & PAX
September: GAMEfest

Looks like they weren't kidding with the conventions...

I was toying with the idea of going to GAMEfest since ME 3 will be there in playable form but then I just couldn't sum up the strength of will to travel to Birmingham

I would go... if I lived within a three hours drive from Birmingham. Kind of a shame, I just don't really have the time to do this sort of thing.
