I am not opposed to a healthy endgame battle, but 15 minutes of (realtime) pounding on Meredith seems a bit much. I just can't seem to finish her off. Am I missing something?

Any strategy/tactics on how to finish her off would be appreciated. Image IPB

What's your party setup? She is weak to cold and spirit and the gate guardians are weak to cold and lightning.

If she has just a sliver left and won't die, summon the dog, let it attack and as soon as it does un summon it. You might be locked in combat and that often breaks it and puts "fighting dead lag monster" down.

When you get her down on HP too she starts stunning everyone fighting her, and giving monologues to you all.
If you get her to that stage she's dead soon. My last fight with her, she only managed to stun my once before she died, the first time she stunned me three times :/.

Thank you all for your suggestions. I read in another thread here that this is a bug and to load an autosave before the fight. I loaded two autosaves and neither worked. I then loaded up my mage with cold and spirit spells. Did not help. I then lowered the resolution from very high to high and lowered the difficulty to casual. Still no luck.

I went to the EA support forum and saw there might be conflicts in DirectX 11. So I downloaded and installed the latest video drivers for my card.

I then loaded up my last save and lo and behold, I was finally able to kill Meredith.

FWIW, if anyone else has this problem, they might look at their video drivers.

Again, thanks for your help. Image IPB
