lets say there is a major decision that needs to be made and the teams draws weapons at each other.. who do you side with?

I would side with mass effect 1 team. We should be able to convince team 2 to lay their arms down. Jacob is not a leader. Grunt can be persuaded by Wrex. Legion is logical. Samara is automatically loyal to Shepard. Mordin is not there is I assume he will join Shepard. And Miranda can be arrested and thrown the SR2's prison cell if she refuses to surrender.

Definaly team 1, has the much better characters. Although, I would like to have Legion on team 1.

Hmm, I guess you wanted leader, sentinel (well Ash doesn't fit), Krogan, tech and biotic teams to go against each others. So, at least it's basically it's equal fight.

Anyway I would side with team 1.

Team 2 looks better on paper, but team 1 has something which team 2 seriously lacks, which will eventually turn the tables for team 1. Team 1 have serious advantage in team work and experience on working in team. They all had in original Normandy and that way they had seen each other abilities in fight and they all had fight with each others. Team 2 have never worked together as long as Team 1 and that's disadvantage for them, which ultimately leads to their defeat.

i would have to say if it came down to a fight... i'd say team 2 would be winning. as for choosing a side i really dont know. probably team 2 as well i do like garrus far more than jacob tho but other than that i liked ME2 better than the first so idk...
that being said i would like to see a showdown between grunt and wrex i feel like that could be intense. The ultimate pure krogan vs one of the best leaders urdnot has ever seen. a dual of greats no doubt

My favorite chars are divided between the two teams.  I'd go for the paragon/renegade convo option to keep them both.

Group 1 is almost perfect. 

I would however, kill the VS and convince Legion

 to come with me, since my Renegade is through da roof!

Or just trade VS for Legion. If I can't? Still Group 1
