There are plenty of things, the only reason I am still playing is because, there's not much else to do in such a small town.

Once quality games like Portal and Assassin's Creed stop coming out, I will stop gaming. 'Til then, I am eagerly anticapting Skyrim and a host of other games.

I doubt that I ever would give up gaming totally, but sometimes I have times I can't play, because RL doesn't give me much time to do so. When my youngest was still a babe and toddler, I didn't play at all and tbh I was too busy to miss gaming that time ^^

You would have to further define "gaming." I tend to make a game out of every mundane task just to keep me moderately sane. I am pretty sure I could quit doing anything other than eating, sleeping, and other bodily functions that keep me moving.

Video games? They aren't necessary, just a great diversion.

I think the only thing that would make me even consider it is if everything were to become digital or even worse if cloud gaming were to be the only source of media.

If cloud gaming was all we had, I would stop in a heartbeat. I'm alright with digital, although I would prefer if Steam wasn't what we got stuck with.

An Suzuki GSX-R1000 would certainly encourage me to give up gaming.

If the market continues to move towards the casual audience. I have no desire to play majority of the games on the Wii or any of the games on the two Wii rehashes.

A Suzuki. An is only used if the word starts with a vowel.

I am very sorry to hear that.

Also I said hands. One hand would certainly not deter me from trying to play video games. Losing both my hands would make it near impossible for me to continue. Added onto the fact if I had such a constant bowel problem, and I didn't have hands...Well, like the topic suggests.

I don't do much anyway, and am happier when I'm not sucked in by a game. I read more and get more sleep.

Can't really think of any realistic reasons to stop gaming. Lack of time if I ever get the bizarre urge to have kids or something? I don't know. Some read books, some go kick a ball in a field. We gamers are the only ones who "are wasting our time". Bah. At least I can speak English properly.
