To those who are used to the lingo, it probably comes as naturally as breathing, but to me, even with my relatively good knowledge of the BG spell system, I am often at a complete loss!
I had to pause reading for 10 or 20 seconds before it dawned on me that "II" means "Improved Invisibility", and there are still lots of truncations that leave me totally stumped.
The problem is made worse by the way the posters often refer to each other's screen names as abbreviations!
Convenience is nice, but come on, do you really want only a small cross-section of potential readers to have any idea what you're talking about in your blog that took all your time and hard work?
Anyhoo, if we could have a sticky at the top of one of these three forums, I guess this general one, or better yet, in all three, with a quick reference guide to abbreviations, it would be enormously helpful to the community, especially if we are to keep Baldur's Gate alive and keep attracting new players!
