Hi guys!  My boyfriend got me into Mass Effect 2 and at first I was hesitant because I'm not too keen on FPS, but I made an adept with pink armor and love the game.

I was wondering if ME3 would include pink armor or maybe some more girly things for female Shephard.  Like maybe an armor skirt instead of legs or a vanity to change makeup or hair.

Armor skirt like:

That'd be pretty cool.  Thanks!

Your skirt gets snagged on a piece of rebar as you vault over the broken rubble. You smash you face into the ground, stunning you, and the enemy take the opportunity to plant multilpe slugs in the back of your head.

Game Over. You fail, come back when you are dressed for war.

How would you logicaly explain the usage of an modern armored skirt? It has no possible advantages over the classic design and several disadvantages.

Signs of trolling-

A. Signed up today
B. Hasn't registered any games
C. Says something that will definitely cause vocal reactions

Its not always the case, but most of the time, it is.

The pieces fit. Don't feed. Move on.

I made an account so I could post this suggestion.  Just cuz many might not like/care about these options doesn't mean it's a troll.  If it weren't for some girl mentioning having pink armor in the game it wouldn't be there in the first place.  So I figured someone should bring it up.  If you don't like it, fine, but that doesn't make it a troll.

Your average bioware forum goer only thinks someone is a troll if they see a flaw in a bioware game.

There are so many more unrealistic things in the games that a story like this just makes me laugh. You can run around battlefields without a helmet on and the landscape is COVERED in convenient waist-high walls. Pragmatism is not all that important in fiction.

Having a skirt just doesn't make sense, I think that's why they will not include such an option.

That is an abomination.

And ME2 already has those, silly.

I was going to make a technical arguement about the coding required for the skirt to flow correctly when running, jumping, sliding down inclines, combat rolling and the like, but figured satire and sarcasm would just be easier.

Amoured skirts, reminds me of my days of playing Runescape LOL. I don't see it happening.

Honestly I was never a fan of the pink armor ... but since it was an option and not required meh I don't care if they let you make pink armor.

However, armored skirts, especially like the one linked, are highly impractical and would be far more of a hinderance than help. Especially if one requires a great deal of mobility. I think Bioware is trying for a bit more realism than that.

And to be honest I think that dress in the link looks pretty stupid - in my opinion.

That said, I would be all for more choices for shipboard attire. I never really liked any of the options in ME2.

Kasumis memories DLC package. No skirt armour though, just casual.

You have to go to Haestrom, have both Legion and Jacob in your party, spin around three times then jump twice, then when you're fighting the collosus you have to wait for a little light to flicker when that happens you have to shoot it with the Mantis Sniper rifle oh yeah and it has to be on insanity. I know, because my uncle works at Nintendo

Venezia where's a skirt.... Why not? In any case, a skirt isn't really needed. Outfits can be girly enough without them. Look at Mirand, Samara, Kasumi, and Liara(LSB). I think they accomplish this well enough.

I just don't think that being "feminine" and taking part in active combat as a top level special forces commando really go hand in hand. Looking good takes a back seat to not dying when bullets are wizzing by at a fraction of the speed of light. Shepard isn't a Final Fantasy character after all.

I wouldn't object to "girly" options being in the game, I just doubt that its gonna happen... at least from a fashionable armor stand point...

Some of the aesthetics requests for games nowadays are getting silly haha.

Time to go play some Team Hat-ress 2.
