As a woman...I say NO! to armored skirts...the heels, catsuits and bra straps are bad enough, I would hate to see armored skirts thrown in too.

well...  option to go no-bra then?

btw I like the other suggestion of kilts, but broadsword is silly, let us have instead a weapon like that staff from Andromeda

edit: sorry for doublepost

Not quite what I had in mind...<_<.......:P

Actually the Greeks used to wear Armored skirts in battle. It is not the worst idea ever for the femshep. The only scifi issue with the idea is she can't wear the skirt in scenes wear the breather helmet is being used.

wow you guys are pretty mean haha- you know Ashley has a skirt-like suit in ME3 right? The entire Mass Effect series is filled to the brim with things we can classify as being unrealistic. Looks like some people have to take off their aggro-flamer hats and start communicating to other people like human adults.

No modern soldier would wear ANYTHING as loose and floppy as a skirt. For the same reason that they tie all loose straps together with tape, cut their hair short and generally avoid having loose stuff in general. Because that stuff will get caught in something during a critical moment and possibly kill you.

As for high heels, I won't even touch on the subject due to the sheer stupidity of it.

I never understood the reasoning of high heels anyway, they're completely unnatural, I really don't understand why women wear them. How the **** do you walk in them? plus they will wreck your ankle flexiblity over time.

Do you desire to be taller? You like tall men but you wear high heels...

lol female logic...

you make a good point. Still Miranda where high heel boots all through ME2. But with femshep, the way she is voiced or invisioned by bioware now, she'd never wear a skirt and high heels in battle.

Never worn heels myself....aside from not seeing the point in wearing something so unwieldly, I have also worked a number of years in Aged Nursing Homes and have seen the out come, no thanks, I want to keep my feet usable.

It's a sensual thing. There's really no other reason for it. it may have to do with making the leg more "visible" in some sense.

They accentuate the legs, so not just the overall height but proportion of leg to overall height. Some girls do want to be taller. So do some guys for that matter, I seem to recall the claims of Tom Cruise wearing subtle platformed shoes.

It doesn't have to be a question of relativity, girls height compared to guys height. Height can be considered an attractive trait in both genders. In fact the cynic would say one reason girls like tall guys is so they can wear heels without ruining the guys ego. Again with Tom Cruise, one of the first things Nicole Kidman said after they split up is "at least I can wear heels again".

As long as you mean female shep having more girlish options then yes I guess that is ok. If on the other hand you mean't male shep having more girlish options well..good luck with that. In all seriousness if you mean having the option to wear a skirt on the Normandy then I'm fine with that but if you mean wear a skirt...as...armor...well that statement speaks for itself I believe. Then again, wouldn't really be any different then what Jack or Miranda wears in combat... so I'm torn.
