While I would like some more girly features for shepard such as longer hair and some better ship casual outfits, I want the armour to be practical. So no to armour skirts.

Kasumis memories DLC package. No skirt armour though, just casual.

Ah yes. Sexy.

That's FemShep's "come hither" position.  Sharon Stone has nothing on her.

As for a more girly FemShep...which fixes broken nails, omnigel or medigel?

However, I am ALL FOR armor skirts!  Armor Skirts for the squad!!!  Nothing in this universe will be more intimidating than my A team of Wrex, Kaidan, Garrus, and Mordin in skirts.  Wrex in a skirt the true Scotsman way (quad a'swingin), Kaidan in a mini showin' off the goods, Garrus in a kilt to match his face paint, and Mordin shouting "Pantyhose constriction, quite problematic".

So long as MaleShepard also has access to these girly options...

I would feel pretty silly if my blue, squid-headed, psychic gravity magic using lesbian squadmate was wearing an armored skirt.

It would kill my immersion.

There is a point where I am expecting the OP to come back and advertise an online pharmacy in their blog...

So much spam here it isn't funny.

Not girly in the slightest, but we need battle kilts for ME3. Hey, it worked for William Wallace, well up to the point where he was drawn and quartered...

No.

The only time and place where a female specific option for Femshep would possibly be for her dress blues, say during the court scene. Even then it should only be an option. Wearing a skirt into battle in the ME universe is just stupid.

Armored skirts would only work for Wonder Woman; but that's because she doesn't need armor.

I was wondering if ME3 would include pink armor or maybe some more girly things for female Shephard.  Like maybe an armor skirt instead of legs or a vanity to change makeup or hair.

They had pink armor in ME 2, so I assume it will be in ME 3.

I don't think it'd fit with the established aesthetics of ME armor, practical or not.

Mmmmmm....... no. Bad enough how they've dressed some of the female NPCs... I don't think encouraging Bioware to waste time on turning female Shepard into a girly tween school girl is a good suggestion... if anything, female Shepard needs more options in armor that make her even more believable as a juggernaut of destruction, like the men.... not glamming her up.

Amoured skirts, reminds me of my days of playing Runescape LOL. I don't see it happening.

You read my mind...about the Runescape part.

"Armored skirt"? Runescape much? Anyways, I think that kind of thing would be impractical and, frankly, kinda demeaning for women.

Just so those of you know, that armored skirt is from the new Phantasy Star game. THERE ARE MAGES. Mages are required - by video game law - to wear dresses. :/ You guys should know this.

To be fair having a skirt in combat would actually be a lot less silly than some of the other things a few characters wear in combat (Miranda's catsuit and Jack's nipple belt being the two major ones)

I don't feel its demeaning if it's offered as an option, not a requirement.

I was going to link that. =p

I love chainmail skirts in fantasy games; perhaps not in ME, but they are still damn sexy nonetheless.

Functionality is a requirement, not an option. Therefore, armoured skirt is not an option.

If you are, cause I can not tell over the internet:

99% sure you will be able to have pink armor in ME3. Don't know why they would remove a color option.

On skirts...

1. From what I have seen skirts tends to cause weird clipping issues, look like they are strangely glued to your legs or end up looking like you have no legs and instead just have feet sown on to the bottom of a sheet of cloth. There are long skirts in ME but they are on NPC's who don't move much. ME3 is going to have allot diving rolling and sprinting. I don’t think it’s going to work in any way that looks even remotely real if they try and do this with a skirt. Pants are easier to do. If you mean short really skirts which don't have as much clipping issues just...no and rolling and diving would still look bad.

2. It would look out of place. Mass effect was never that realistic, especially not after ME2 with the random high heels (bleh) but something are easier to suspend belief about than others. Comabt skirts just dose not seem to fit and are really impractical in a sci fi shooter.

3. Don’t think many people would want it honestly. I most definitely don’t tho a random skirt or 2 wouldn’t kill me. Tho I don't think that is demeaning (when most of the armors turn into short skirts, thigh high boots and bras then it starts becoming an issue.). Although its always seems to be the most awesome looking pants on guys that gets translated into a skirt on a female character in games I play. ARGH I would kind prefer they kept femsheps armour looking relatively practical looking at least and skirts are past what I can accept.  I guess I should not complain about an option if there is better tho .

Armoured skirts may be out of the question but armoured kilts? Now that's a different story the Scotish use to fight in kilts all the time.

(I don't know if I'm being serious or not with this post)

Oh boy, armored anime space skirts. Well one thing would be certain, you would ensure that people would stop complaining about thermal clips or a decrease in roleplay options.

No. No, no, no. Skirts are highly impractical for combat- close or otherwise. Loose fabric or metal gets caught on corners, trapped in doors, etc. It may work in animes or in games that use different fighting mechanics (i.e. fantasy like Dragon Age) but are unnecessary and just... not needed in a futuristic shooter.

Just, no.
