Liara wore half-skirt armor in LotSB...guess that was still too glittery and anime-ish for Mass Effect right?

Technically correct, but given modern weapons and battlefields a swirling skirt would be...problematic. Frankly, I don't care if they let her have it or not so long as they give me a check box to turn it off. Like they didn't do with the helmets in ME2 *cough*.

In ME2 they included the beekeeper armor as dlc so why not this?
And btw. it would be pretty smart to run around in a sexy battle skirt since every enemy with a gender seems to be masculine. Shep can drop her thermal clips a few times, say "I'm a klutz!" while hitting herself on the forehead and bend over to get them while her teammates surround the enemy.
Would I let my Femshep wear it? Not if it looks like on the image posted, that's for sure. And it should be at least combined with shin armor to keep the illusion of being kind of protective.

Last time I checked you were able to change armor in ME and ME2. I think it's a safe bet that you'll be able to do that in ME3 too, so where's the problem if it were included?

Except I'm calling a mallard a duck, and its being argued that its a goose. "That's a coat"...okay...so then allow girls the option to wear "coat" armor like Liara does. Will calling it a coat satisfy your need for everything to be overly manly?

Nope, its fine as it is. Let the squaddies have their own looks however.

Right. Because allowing gamers a plethora of customization options depending on his/her desire for how their character should look is so horrible.
If your femshep gets to wear a skirt it will forever soil Mass Effect!!! THE HORROR!!!

Not to stop the argument, and I support skirts in general (though NOT as armor), but that's nothing like a skirt.
That is a jacket/coat. It is cool, but it is not a skirt.
Carry on.

This. This, bloody this!DaveExclamationMarkYognaut wrote...
Tough =/= manly. I'm personally happy that FemShep is kind of unique in comparison to 90% of video game female protagonists.
I'm personally going to kill someone if they start giving FemShep skirts for armour, or something that reveals cleavage. Chrissake, aren't there enough characters like that already, in ME and other games? The biggest thing that makes FemShep so unique is the way she is potrayed. She is not a girl, but she is clearly a woman. And she's a bloody military officer. So far she's been potrayed accordingly, please, please don't start messing with that.
Fortunately, the writers give me hope.

Have you seen a skirt before? There is no such thing as a half-skirt. Please, prove your belief that is a skirt.

No, I'm not. There is a HUGE difference between a skirt, and a coat.
What Liara wore in LotSB isn't even remotely like what the OP suggested.
