I think it was a combination...because Saren basically laughed when they wanted him to bring Skarr down lol.

Now Zaeed vs Wrex would be more of a fair fight. I can see an entire city block being leveled by those two in a scuffle.

^ Just because you never heard of him doesn't make him a pushover. Remember Grissom and Anderson were the original N7s and Saren... well we all know about Saren.

I honestly think Thane could kill half the people listed above him

Saren, Shepard, Wrex, Zaeed is about right and not in that order. Volus is right. Thane is a quick kill assassin and has NOT forgotten more ways on how to kill organics than the amount of runtimes Legion's got in his platform.

Anderson and Kahlee Sanders if I remeber correctly.

Kahlee Sanders shotgunned his ass when he had Anderson trapped in a corner.

And for those that haven't read the novels, Skarr is a mercenary krogan(apparently the best in the verge) that's hired to go after Kahlee Sanders in Mass Effect Revelation.

Skarr is on par with Wrex, probably even a stronger battlemaster because of his impeccable biotics, i would of loved to see this fight

its a little hard to have wrex have biotic powers like skarr in the game,because he cant be overpowerd. (someone please make this sound better for me)

Kahlee shot Skarr with the shotgun when he was cornering Anderson, then Anderson put a bullet in his head when Skarr turned around to face Kahlee after he'd been shot.

Gameplay mechanics =/= lore. Just like Jack pwning 3 YMIRs or Samara pulling a skycar. Looks cool and it's probably what they can actually do, but to implement it in the gameplay would be broken and make the game unchallenging.

The thing about my list is that it is based upon open one on one combat scenarios that are clearly defined and executed. Thane could probably fairly easily kill Saren given the contract. However, that isn't a test of skill, but of intuition, infiltration, planning, etc etc. 

Put them in an arena, 100 meters long, with cover, trenches, and open areas, and I anticipated that Saren would kill Thane 7 to 8/10 times. Not great odds, I know for either of them, I know, but it's just an example of how they would fair against each other openly. 

So yes, Thane could kill anyone on that list. Anyone on that list could kill anyone. We're talking about the most dangerous people in the galaxy here. Even the best (Saren) is going to lose to the worst-of-the-best,sometimes.
