Don't know it this is the correct forum to post this question.....

Problem: Can't do assign any other attack (while pausing with the LT) besides basic "A" attack with everyone in my party.

Using the LT to pause, I am able to assign basic "A" attack for everybody in my party. I can't figure out how to have someone do their "special" attack (B, Y or X). I am able to get to the bad guy I want to by using the d-pad, but only when I hit "A", does the double red ring appear under them indicating that this attack will happen. If I hit the other buttons that the "specials" are assisgned they stay kind of greyed out/doesn't let me choose them (they are fully charged).

What am I doing wrong?

You can't use your quickslots from the pause menu, as far as I know.

You just have to navigate to the abilities you want.



Random Tips:

LB+RB = select entire party (big time saver)

Leaving your whole party selected while controlling a single character can mess up tactics scripts, as can HOLD POSITION.

Yes, PDX Umber is correct. When paused you have to go to the abilities and select them manually. So you hold LT, draw right on your stick, and then mark the ability you wish to use and hit X.



I hardly ever use those quickslots at all..
