Option to scale or color text in ME3?

Anyone know if ME3 will present an option to scale the font size of subtitle text, or have an option to use another color? (I found the white text sometimes faded in the background of some scenes)
I assume that the presumption is most players have newer TV sets/monitors to play on or will, but for those of us who don't - yet- would be vey cool to have text be more proportionate to the screen real estate.

Ya that bothered me as well, would be great if they gave us an option to change the color of the text or allowed us to change the size slightly.
Agreed. I seems the trend in thinking is that most have upgraded TVs/Monitors but I don't know if that is as pervasive as they believe.

As for changing the type size, I'll tell you right now that would never happen. It's a design issue. You never design something and then arbitrarily pick a size or font for it. You find the size that blends well with everything else. You spend a considerable amount of time making sure the type you picked is the right color, size, has the right spacing between the individual letters and lines, while still being legible.
Giving us the ability to change that would invalidate the work, as well as mess with any sense of cohesion. Trust me when I say that increasing the size of type by even a point size can make a huge difference as to how things look in paragraph.
Again, yes, it does leave those with SD out in the rain, but technology marches on. As far as I know, analog tvs are more or less done, so many developers believe that in the end it would just be more practical to take full advantage of the resolutions available to them.

Also white text on white backgrounds BW sucks if you put the text in bright areas or on white backgrounds change the color or put a black box behind it so I can read what the hell is going on! Maybe a zoom function while reading all documents that will blow up the text if my text is uber small? I don't want to miss a word but depending on what TV I'm on at the time I miss alot.

I mean it doesn't even have to be that big a block it could just wrap arround the sentence to reduce the space it might take up.

@Ace of Dawn: Your explanation is sound and the points are well taken (by me anyway). While I agree SD tvs are an aging technology, I still believe they are (and may be for at least another 5 years or more) the prevalent technology. As often as people are replacing their old TVs with new ones (Congrats on that!Ace of Dawn wrote...
I actually hope they don't do this. Yes, standard definition TVs are still around, but with the price of HDTVs constantly dropping and becoming more prevalent, needing to design a game so that everything looks perfect on what is inferior technology seems pointless. I know, that isn't fair to the SD people out there, I had one (it actually broke recently). But in the end, you have to decide where you stand on it. Bioware wants to use their tech to the fullest, so sacrifices need to be made....

To that end someway to colorize text would go a long way toward a compromise that would hopefully not call for copious effort on the part of the developers and still allow many who haven't been able to upgrade their tvs from SD to utilize that option to an advantage. On the other hand if it is a modest effort to allow a resize option, I know I'd be very grateful for the choice. Perhaps others would be too.
