So, we see threads like "Anderson will probably die at the beginning of the game" and other threads that are spoilerific. Just yesterday i read that
Spoiler
. I wasn't too happy about it.

I dont know you guys (and girls?) but i wanna sit down with the game and almost not known everything, what a experience that will be! oh boy!

So for me, i will probably start avoid anything Mass Effect 3 related in the coming months, maybe start at September this year. I have pre-ordered the Collector's Edition so i will just have to....... wait...

This thread isn't ironic at all.

What's ironic?

You state a spoiler in a thread you are using to complain about being unhappy about spoilers.

Well, it was an example and it looks like the spoiler tag doesn't work on these forums.

It's an example, i am not the one who says Anderson will die. There aren't even any proof of that the time i write this.

I'll probably bookmark an ongoing thread/group or two, and just visit those, to avoid major spoilers, and still get updated on tiny things.

Is there a way to "hide" the ME3 section, so you don't see the rogue XXXXXXX DIES *spoiler* thread topics, while navigating the boards? I'd like to stick around for some Dragon Age stuff, but if not I'll just restrict myself to the above.

Yeah, but that would be pretty tedious to bookmark, every section, but the ME3 part lol. Since I like to browse the ME2/1 and DA:O/2 boards :-).

You post in all sections? Well you could make a bookmark folder for BSN & put your bookmarks in there. Sure it is tedious, but it is effective to your needs.

So the OP don't want spoilers and yet he includes a spoiler so that people who don't know about the spoiler will know about it? Way to go OP.

As for your question, I will probable leave a few days before the american release. These forums will crawl with "OMG where you sad when Garrus died", for example.

A good part of the forum yes, not always posting. I enjoy to lurk. Graveyard shifts are really boring. I may do the bookmark thing, until university studies pick up, and then I'll probably not have enough time to visit anyways.

Never.
I have the superpower of having my enjoyment of any medium not being affected by already knowing what's going to happen. Not the flashiest superpower one could have, but I've gotten some use out of it.

That is not confirmed. I start to avoid ME3 stuff when I can´t avoid major confirmed facts about it. I need to know something about the game, so I can decide if game is worth pre-order overpriced CE, buy normal edition when it comes out or wait until it is in bargain bin.

I'll still visit, even if I here spoilers, I can still enjoy it, I'll just try to avoid any spoilers.

@Raygereio: Come on! you need to have a lot of confidence in your superpower! What if superman thought the same way?

That Anderson will die. Bioware has bad habit of killing someone at the start of the game, but it may or may not be Anderson. It is just another speculation thread.

I said I'd go dark after E3, but can't resist visiting the boards here though. Skyrim boards are dead. No good info and discussion over there. Beth's been worryingly quiet. A lot better discussion over here. Just sucks waiting so long though.

Issue is this forum is not spoiler free zone. So, comming here you allways get some spoilers. I my self try to avoid all STORY spoilers as much as possible and talk more about gameplay features mostly. How ever, if something story related is already spoiled for me, then I don't see anymore reason to avoid it.

I start avoiding the forums once the game is leaked, because that's when the real spoilers start to hit.

When I get the game, I will avoid the forum. I'll be getting it on release day.

Avoid forums altogether if you're afraid of spoilers.

Also I'll avoid this forums for 3 days after ME3 is launched since Europe get's it 3 days later.
Maybe even sooner if some people get ME3 sooner so I don't want some jerk to spoil me entire game.
