When I get some solid Miranda news. Won't be long now. Mac Walters said so.

Not until the game is released. I love spoilers, and I've never had one ruin the story for me.

Probably not until I actually get the game. More because I'll be too busy playing to read the forums than out of any real desire to not be spoiled.

I spoiled the entirety of Mass Effect 1 for me (I couldn't afford a 360 until almost a year after the game's release, and my comp at the time was too weak for the PC version... so yeah), and still loved the everliving crap out of the game. I spoiled everything released about ME2 before the launch, and I still loved the everliving crap out of the game.

That said, I would prefer if they spoiled as little as possible of ME3, since I won't be able to stay away from the information released.

No, these days it is way too much work to avoid spoilers. Bioware works really hard to spill all the beans before the game is out. They're good at it.

I just want to know as much about the gameplay mechanics that are focused on the weapons and different classes. I don't want to see the other worlds, characters we met, etc. I want that to be a surprised. I want to land on a new planet when the game comes out and feel like I never seen this before.

The moment these "first 30 minutes of Mass Effect 3" previews show up.

Never.
I have the superpower of having my enjoyment of any medium not being affected by already knowing what's going to happen. Not the flashiest superpower one could have, but I've gotten some use out of it.

I thought I was the only one. :bandit: Though I can respect people not wanting to get spoiled, I like knowing some things in advance myself, especially how to avoid certain characters dying or bad endings etc.

I start avoiding the forums once the game is leaked, because that's when the real spoilers start to hit.

^ This. What one person assumes to happen, when they have almost no way of knowing yet I dont consider to be a spoiler.

Grunt will knock up Miranda in ME3! You know its true because I said it on an internet forum!

I'll avoid the ME forums from the weekend before the american release, until i've completed it once. I'll still be on the fourms, just in the DA section.

The first week after the release of ME3 I will be scarce because I will be immersed up to my eyeballs in it. In fact, I plan on being sequestered.

Spoilers can strike from anywhere, at any time. Nowhere is safe. I will definitely avoid the forums at least one week prior to and after it has been released. It's not just forumites that can spoil the experience though, as even BioWare likes to spill certain beans. Remember what happened with ME2's marketing?

I still wonder how different my initial ME2 play through would have been if I hadn't been aware of the possible outcomes.

I won't make the same mistakes prior to and/or while playing the final game.

Lord know I try to stay away the closer we get to the game, but it's really hard. I'll probably try to stay away at least 1-2 months in advance or when I hear about the game going gold. Too many chances for leaks to be splashed across forum titles.

I was kind of irritated about knowing the fate of the kid, but if it gets too bad on here, I'll have to exile myself until after I play the game.

I'll be disappearing a little bit after I get more info on how squadmates work, might stick around til people start getting leaked copies and real spoilers crop up. I'll definately be gone by then.

GTFO!! WIN!! "I am Krogan!" (Moans) "Yes, you are!!" Damn, Shep! You ain't s**t!

Seriously, it's all speculation - no matter what is seen in the previews! The whole Anderson thing is based off what was done before, so it's just assumed it'll happen again. And you know what they say regarding assumptions ...

Avoid this forum? Start of the year, I guess. Or when they are starting to show walkthroughs of missions.

Already started a month ago. It's still a social network, so if a friend responds to something worth discussing(like this topic) in the ME3 forum, I'll check it out. Otherwise, I'm essentially done until post-launch. The less I know before playing, the more interesting the playthrough will be - I've learned over the last 6 months that these forums can seriously hinder that experience.

I usually avoid the forums a couple of months before the game comes out. I don't want to see any trailers or anything that may ruin some surprise for me. The Husband ruined the "Archangel-twist" in ME2 for himself by viewing an ME2 trailer before the game came out - since I didn't see the trailer, the Archangel-twist was a wonderful surprise.

I've actually avoided seeing the ME3 trailers, other than the Nigel Fish 'n' Chips one, which was shown during a rather awful awards show a few months ago.
