What is a troll topic? I had no idea there was such a thing, I thought trolling was only an action like spamming or bothering someone? I don't know it all, just asking ;) And sorry for your bad luck, am not meaning to make fun of you.

Our Moderators always try to send you a message when you have been banned, stating why you have been banned. If you do not receive such a message, please contact Chris Priestly, who can look it up in the List of Bans and find out who banned you and why (assuming, of course, that the Moderator listed a reason, which they are always supposed to do).

That said, you are always free to dispute or disagree with a ban. Our Moderators may not agree with your reasons, or they may have reasons of their own, but nothing prevents you from asking about it.

"Trolling" has a pretty specific definition on the internet, but people have started to use it to describe anyone or any behaviour that they disagree with. This is not trolling. Some also use it to describe disagreeable people who whinge a lot or insult other people or swear a lot. This is generally not trolling. Actual honest-to-goodness trolling is when people make provocative posts purely to get a reaction out of everyone, like going to a sports team's community and posting how bad that team is, or singing the praises of a rival team.

I hope that helps.
