Patching Problems and "exclusive downloadable content"

I tried patching, didn't work, which reminded me of the original NWN when it told me to download the critical rebuild... No problem, I go to download the critical rebuild... Only despite the fact that the game has been out for years now, the critical rebuild STILL isn't available. I find that there's a way to manually patch, but an essential file is missing from the NWN Vault, and thus preventing me from doing things this way beyond a point: nwn2_pcx2_english_from1211549_to1221586.zip gives a 404 error, and from what I can gather through forum searches, this has been a problem for quite some time. I looked through the source code, and managed to manually find the download link, but this is ridiculous, and I really shouldn't have had to go through this trouble in the first place.
Nice job supporting the paying fans and toiling developers who made this game guys...
Anyways, another minor problem... When I bought Platinum Edition, the front cover says that it includes "The original Neverwinter Nights 2, Neverwinter Nights 2 Mask of the Betrayer, Neverwinter Nights 2 Storm of Zehir and exclusive downloadable content." While the package certainly included the game and its expansions, so far as I can tell, there was no "exclusive downloadable content" that I would have missed out on had I bought the game and expansions individually. What is this content, and how do I claim it?

c) I have no idea what they mean by "exclusive downloadable content", because there isn't any exclusive content.
d) Obsidian would happily support it, but there is a pesky lawsuit with Hasbro, who owns DnD, so they must remain silent (of course the community has fixed virtually everything anyway).

A) This is precisely my complaint.
C) The package says it right on the front, bottom center. I already quoted it exactly, minus the trademark symbol after each instance of "Neverwinter Nights".

Weren't there a couple of things which were exclusive, at least for a time? I think "Blessed of Waukeen" was one of them.
From the wiki nwn2.wikia.com/wiki/Blessed_of_Waukeen:
Type of Feat: Character historyPrerequisite: Characters created with the limited edition, or patch 1.05 and up
Specifics: Blessed by Waukeen, the deity of coins and wealth, you have a soft golden halo above your head.
Special Effects: +1 bonus to all saving throws. Certain merchants will recognize this blessing and offer special items.
This feat needs to be activated to display the golden halo. The bonus to saving throws and the merchant recognition are always active and do not require the golden halo to be displayed.
There was one other special feat, I think.

Platinum is also supposed to be fully patched. Platinum is what you get via Steam, and the Steam version is fully patched. 1.20 is what you got if you bought nwn2, then later bought motb, then soz. SoZ brought it up to the then current 1.20 patch. 1.23.1765 is fully patched (the game says 1.23, the toolset 1.23.1765)

See my point d) above. They can't do anything due to legal reasons.MarioFanaticXV wrote...
I bought the game in a store, I don't consider digital downloads to be purchasing so much as an indefinite rental; Platinum Edition IS available in stores, I just got my copy two days ago (the day before I made this), brand new, and it only brings it to 1.20. Still, since the patches are finalized at this point, it doesn't seem like it'd be asking much for them to finally release the Critical Rebuild.
Also, thank you to Axe_Edge for clearing that up.

As I didn't see the downloadlink for the missing file in your post, here it is: http://nwvault.ign.c...d.php?id=133235
And for all who want to create their own local patch stash, here's the main NWNvault link:

There goes Hasbro's chance of having me as a customer.
Regardless... Can anyone suggest a player-made patch that will fix the ~100 bugs I'm running into?
[Edit: I am not the brightest person alive, but I'm assuming patching the game doesn't work smoothly when you got it through Steam? If anyone could explain what to do, I'd really appreciate it.]

There is a Sticky in the NwN 2 General Discussion forums (No Spoilers Allowed) forum (the second entry down) that should get you squared away (it probably should be in this forum).
