Do you remember the first time you ever played a video game? If so, what were you playing?


My first video game was X-Men Mutant Academy 2 on PS1. Psylocke FTW.

Arcade game - either Space Invaders or Asteroids, but I have more distinct memories of Donkey Kong.

Home/console video game - Circus Atari or Maze Craze. My cousin had an Atari 2600, and would, on occasion, be benevolent enough to let me play.

I was 5 years old my dad took me to shopko where Super Mario Bros. was on display and the rest is history.

   Same here.  Space Invaders also.

   As far as a home console goes, Las Vegas Poker and Blackjack and Armour Battle on Intellivision.

Pong first, followed in no short order by the Atari Mario Bros game (Maaaario where are you!?.

It's hard to pin down what other games I played first though, my memory is awful. I remember playing games on the NES, Master System, PC, and the Commodore though. Never looked back.
