Same here.  A lad up our street had it way before we were even teens.  I remember a bunch of us piling into his room to play this rubbishy thing on an old black & white TV he had in there.  He was rationed to just a couple of hours a week so it didn't burn into the screen.  I thought it was pants, to be honest.

First game to really catch my imagination was Pacman, I guess a couple of years later.  By the time I finally had something powerful enough to run it (I didn't have a console... some things don't change) I'd rather lost interest.  Typical, really.

First time...that would be the game Lines. I played it in the establishment known as "Institute of Nuclear Problems Research". On computers that were actually used for nuclear research.

I remember my first time sky diving. You see, it was tandem, so he was behind me the whole time...

Hmm....think the first game I ever played was about 19-20 years ago, think it was some game or another on the Atari, think it was centiped, short of that the first game I remember playing, was with a friend named Horus at his house where we played TMNT on the SNES. Actully I think the very first time, didn't think it counted till now but, i would have to be at the table top Arcade machine that you could eat on at pizza hutt. That was so long ago I only barely remember it.  Shame you don't have those anymore.
