Locking the door, turning off my phone, calling work to say I'm sick for the day after and getting 4 2 liters of mountain dew and a pizza or two. Then putting the game in and having the time of my life.
Trade out Mt Dew for Dr Pepper, add in two other siblings who also absolutely adore the series, and that'll be me.

I wanna get surprised and shocked at all the epic and dramatic moments in this final game.

Step 2: Make sure I have several days of vacation reserved for the ME3 release week.
Step 3: ???
Step 4: Profit!

And after that, I'll be playing it again, now for the 'canon storyline' I want.

I personally will lock the doors, shut off all other electronics, sit back and relax.

I've just played ME1, and I'm currently playing ME2 with that savefile...and romancing Tali (Yes, I'm one of those.) Since I don't actually want to cheat, and neither want my character to reflect that, I'm forced to develop an attraction with Ashley (since going the paragon route automatically does that), then send her to her death on Virmire. Which makes the romance with Tali all the more poignant, with a Shepard who not only lost a crewmate, but a potential love as well, and in comes Tali. (OK, I'll shut up about her now).
You know, you can say to Ashley: "I am not interested in romance with you" and still be paragon. Who cares if you get few renegade points, that's the great thing about ME1, those points don't really matter. I did that on my last playtrough. I say "no" to both.

I know...but like I said, it makes the Tali romance a bit mroe poignant to me. Plus, remember how Spider-man's girlfriend Gwen Stacy died? ShepardMy Shepard, Paragon Shepard, always finds the best solution...and here, on Virmire, there's the one time he fails...the one time, in his entire career that he doesn't get it right. And she dies. he fails, utterly and completely.Arppis wrote...
