But to think you have that much influence on the story to decide such a major decision, with fleshed out mission where you escort a krogan fertile female... Ahhh keep dreaming.

I mean you cure the genophage during the game, how you are gonna make an army to fight the Reapers?

How long is the Krogan gestation period? and how long it takes for one to grow?

Do we have to "Lazarus" Okeer?

That makes sense, seeing as how Mordin basically says all the "work" his student did; Mordin knew it all too as he taught him everything he knows.

I thought about that too Best guess would be that Wrex would have enough forsight to pick a successor with as much vision as he had.

Well I told Mordin not to cure the genophage so *shrug*

Korgan always came across as TOO violent. Even after what happened to them they're STILL consumed with nothing but bloodlust, violence, death and war.

In fact trying to cure the genophage, while likely helping with the defeat of the Reapers, will likely bite you in the ass when the Reapers are dealth with. A severely weakened galaxy with a booming Krogan population.. what could possibly go wrong?

If everything goes according to plan we'll just have our new Geth allies destroy the krogan if needed.  Though this may not necessarily be the right approach if we want some stability and peace in the galaxy... Hmm

I gotta disagree with you on them fighting it out because as ling as you and grunt killed thresher maw grunt will seat the throne next the only other krogan to do so was wrex.

This is one of the elements of the game that I love...with everything that a Paragon Shepard can do in the games to date, he will potentially have allies of Krogan, Rachni, and Geth - the same fodder that Saren was preparing to help the Reapers take over the galaxy...no way is this a coincidence. The Reapers saw/see the potential in these races and so does Shepard. No doubt at all that my allies will include a Krogan Army.

Edit:  Not that being Rednegade precludes you from having this same opportunity.

I killed dozens of them in both ME1 and 2 if I was given the option to just clone an army of shepards I'd take that.

As for an army of Krogan, I doubt I would second guess myself by choosing them over any army to march against the reapers.

Curing the Krogan would work out if you need enough of them to keep the rachni honest but as someone said it would be long term since even if they were all cured tomorrow fully grown krogan ready for battle don't just spring up.

Rachni on the other hand have had 2 years to build up and the news says they have already gained ships since there have been sightings of them

Build a krogan army, and put Wrex in command. Wrex is smart enough not to repeat the mistakes of the Krogan Rebellions.

Yes. Mainly because I saved the rachni, and I know if they help fight the reaper invasion, the Krogans and Rachni wouldn't have time to argue about past wars. They would need to fight for survival. It would be a good chance for them to become united under one banner.
