Check out the sticky about common payment problems. I have the same problem and haven't been able to purchase points for a whole multitude of reasons. As far as I can tell they don't want your money.

Have you tried to purchase BioWare Points through the Origin Store? The link is http://store.origin.com.

There are 2 packages on the store.

800 BioWare Points for $10 USD
1600 BioWare Points for $20 USD

yeh they are 2 packages there alright but both are inbuyable via paypal only by crad or some other provider a never heard of and it apears it is imposible tu buy them from origin store via paypal even from the USA so could some please just TELL us why have the paypal vanished.
and yes i know it is not corect thread but on the other one there zero reaction from any moderator.

So pls bioware fix this problem a huge majority of people do not feel confident in the internet in disclosing their credit card details online and nowadays, even fewer trust when a site says "on line security guarantee" pls explain how we canbe so sure that your security guarantee for online pruchases is at very least 110% more secure than most other credit card purchase?

I'm actually having issues buying points as well.
Its saying that an unknown error occurred and to try again later.
I can only assume this is the same issue I always get with my card due to being military and being out of the US, considering I live in Japan and am using a Japanese IP address here living out in town as opposed to being on base.

Can this issue be fixed?
Last time this occurred I was able to get my card 'unlocked' and 'authorized' because of my situation.

I am payd 15USD for bioware points via paypal (in the game), but points I havent receive. Where is a problem?

Im having the same problem, even after someone on the UK EA support assured me it would be sorted Monday. Yet its still not sorted and I have never had a reply to my support ticket on the EA system.

Feels like we are being ignored. Forcing BETA software on people that is nothing like steam is crazy.
You cant even manage your account, you have to click buy (on anything), just to get a link that shows your account status. Its very frustrating, I would have tried posting here,  if I had seen it first.

Just to update, managed to phone again and they manually added the points.
They did say, that if I received more, I was to tell them, which is fair enough.

i've just purchased the £13 pack through the origin application but i still have not received the points. also since i needed more then 1600 for the things i needed i purchased another £13 pack through the bioware website but have only received the points bought through the bioware website...

Been having problems a long time buying points from Biowares site, credit cards worked last time over 2 months ago, getting the nu 2001 error, and Paypal just says General error try again later.
But strangely enough, yesterday Paypal worked, and sadly it don't today.
I've been in contact with the Swedish ea support and they can't help.
I can still buy from EAs origin store but they charge you 35% more. Witch means in Sweden one Premium Spectre pack (ME3) costs 4,5 dollar , and that's robbery. So please bioware if it's impossible to fix please talk to the Swedish sister company and tell them to charge the same as ingame store or on bioware social.

PS I'm you best customer, just check.

How come pay pal works once a month, is there a limit in how many points you could buy every month or so! Please answer Bioware. It's not something with my hardware or so it's something on your end.

I wanted to buy the new ME3 DLC but I add bioware points to origin i cant select paypal. I really wanted to play it before i go away for 2 weeks. Damn it.

 I am having this problem too. When I try to buy BioWare Points from the Origin client there are no payment options when I click the purchase button.

As you can see, there is no way for me to buy any BioWare points at all.


And when I try to buy BioWare points from store.origin.com, it says I can't use PayPal to purchase this product.

It's a total waste of time trying to contact anyone who might be able to assist in this matter. There's just been no one from Bioware doing anything in here in several weeks now. Use the Chatline to talk to one of EA's Game Advisers. If that one can't do it, get a different one.
