What game made you decide that gaming had become a great interest/hobby/disturbing obsession for the rest of
your life(or at least a very long time)? Which was the turning point between mild interest, and immersed in these worlds?
Zork I (played on an Atari 800)
Ultima III (played on my friend's original Macintosh)
The Legend of Zelda (played on the original NES)
been into RPG's ever since.

So many memories, it has always had a place in my heart and I still enjoy playing it
I'll go with this one. I played a lot of other games before that but nothing compares to the first time I played Ocarina of Time.

Final Fantasy VI has changed my life literally from that game I was never able to go back. From 1994 to 1999 that was the only game I played. Game Genie kept it interesting and man was I in for a ride
I could not name a game of games that defined my childhood. Thats a list that would never end.
The original Final Fantasy got me into RPG games and 6 would be my fondest game of the series.
Early it would be pong and river raider.
FIrst PC Apache and the F15 strike eagle games. That good ole tandy 1000 Edit: I need to add The Wingcommander series in here.
Every Sierra and Lucas Arts adventure game to hit shelves,
BEATING BATTLE TOADS.
Duck Hunt/Mario endless hours on that.
Contra
Zelda... all of them.
Mortal Kombat Street FIghter Killer Instinct Tekkan and Virtue FIghter in the arcades ate up much of my allowence at the time.
So did any of the light gun games.
Many I can see but cant remember the names. There are many more I could list but I have things to do tonight.
Notable mention since we are here Shattered Steel. Not to Mention the Earth Siege games (and the spin off turn based cybersiege) The orginal FASA Mechwarrior games and those that followed.
