Hi,
I was just wondering in dragon age 2, how you can sleep with all of the following companions: Fenris, Anders and Isabella  within act 2 but still manage to bed Fenris and keep him as a lover without being rejected when he comes over to your house the first time.Posted Image
Thanks

what, you don't want to sleep with Merrill? Now that's just mean, even if the devs did her bed scene very horribly.

Anyway, go Isabela, Fenris, then Anders. I think that should do it.

I thought Fenris wouldn't sleep with Hawke if he slept with anyone else so I always go Fenris, Isabela, then Anders.

You'll have to be a careful player...I mean, play Act 2 carefully in order to time everything right (gifts and quests and such) and not trigger the breathless arrivals at the Estate type cutscenes.

But be sure to keep Anders for last. Both he and Merrill will cancel out any other romances you have in progress. So, once you go mage, you never go back. (Which sadly doesn't rhyme in a clever way.)

Once you go mage, you can never... renege?

Once you go mage, it's steady as a wage?

I saw someone say a while back that if you sleep with everyone possible, Isabela will joke with Hawke about having never thought she'd meet a looser woman than herself.

.... The sad thing is, I never figured out if that was a joke or if she really says it. :(

Fenris should be slept with first, then Isabela, then Anders. (I managed to sleep with Izzy then Fenris but apparently it glitches).

I can completely envision her saying this. She's just a gross character overall. All the STD references and crap just ruin her for me.

And Merrill acts like she's 10, so I feel like a pedo when I romance her.

So basically I'm stuck with a whiny, terrorist mage and an equally whiny, cynical elf.

"BLAHBLAHBLAH SLAVERS. ELVES ARE PEOPLE TOO BLAHBLAH."

"BLAHBLAH NOT ALL MAGES ARE BAD. LET ME PROVE IT BY BLOWING UP THE CHANTRY."

god the romances are just so horrible.

Thanks, BSN! I didn't think I'd get my daily dose of sex negativity so early.

What the hell does sex negativity have to do with it? People like you find every excuse you can to be butthurt.

I was referring to all the STD referrences in the game. I thought that was blatantly obvious with, you know, how I stated that.

What, you mean the scene where Isabela is shown taking responsibility and having an STI treated? :wizard:

Yes, people like him. People who morph everything people say into something offensive, because they want so desperately to be butthurt.

Kind of like you. ^_^

That's one of a few referrences that turned me off from her, but sure.

If STDs aren't attractive in real life, they're not going to be attractive in a video game. There's nothing cute about crabs.

I really liked that scene, it was like: Wahey! they're actually representing needing STI treatment in a game, I never thought I'd see the day.

Isabela is amazing.

Guess what, STDs were rampant in the middle ages, as they had no proper medicine to treat it, nor the knowledge to prevent it.  Heck, STDs are all around us still.  Thank goodness the DA-verse has healers!

What do your preferences have to do with the topic at hand?

You'd think that scene would make you feel better about her, then, since it pretty definitively shows that Isabela would not have crabs. Since, you know, she demonstrates a) the ability to identify infections, and B) the willingness to have them treated, by magic, which is a bit more effective than modern medicine.

You think I'm worried about catching crabs in a video game? rofl.

No, the idea of Isabela's nether regions festering with something at one point in the game is what turns me off. I don't know why you're having difficulties comprehending this.

She gets them treated and cured before she has the chance to spread it, I'm not sure what the problem is here.

Think of his attitude. Do you think he's in any danger of sleeping with anyone?Posted Image

Your level of comprehension worries me.

Saying, "Knowing Isabela has/had STDs turns me off from her romantically" is no different than saying, "Knowing this woman has/had an abscess in her mouth turns me off from her romantically."

www.youtube.com/watch

But apparently you're some kind of STD martyr and nothing infected turns you off. Makes me wonder what's festering in your nether regions, considering how defensive you're being.
