I read somewhere that if you take legion with you for Tali's loyalty mission, their are extra conversation options available.  I want to take him with me, but it is my understanding that the collectors attack the normandy right after you get Legion on your squad, and you only have time for one mission (specificaly legion's loyalty mission) before crew members start to die.  Is there any way I could take legion with me for Tali's loyalty mission, still do legion's loyalty mission, and still save the crew of the normandy?

EDIT:  Another thing I also want to know is if the fact that I romanced Ashley in ME1 will have any affect on who I can romance in ME2.  I wanted to romance Tali in the first game, but that wasn't an option in the first one, and I'm hoping I didn't screw over my chances in the second one by romancing Ashley.

This is not the case. There will always be time for atleast one mission after activating Legion and before the crew is abducted if you do the first of these things right after acquiring the Reaper IFF. You can always do Tali's loyalty mission in this time span.

Once the crew is abducted you can't do any mission, not Legion's or any other, without people dieing.

It will not. You can romance Tali.

Yah, you can do it like this:

Every loyalty mission's EXCEPT Tali's
Derelict Reaper mission
Tali's loyalty mission
Then Legion's loyalty mission becomes available, do that
Crew abducted

Okay, thanks for clearing that up, my dad played through it before I did, and got half his crew killed, by doing too many missions after that. He seems to get a lot of his teammates killed...
