Which Items Transfer from DAO to DAA?
#1
Posté 03 juillet 2011 - 05:55
Just what the title line asks. It's been quite some time since I played DAA, but I just finished a mage run on DAO, and wish to know what does and doesn't transfer.
I know that Starfang doesn't transfer, nor does the Warden Commander armor. But beyond that, isn't everything else a go in terms of successfully transferring?
Thanks for your help, folks!

Return to Ostagar transfers fine.
Also many of the reward items from other DLC dont tranfer but are replaced by upgraded versions.
so remove your runes and feel free to sell them for money.
-Blightblood
-Battledress if the Provocateur
-The Reapers Cudgel
-Dragonbone Cleaver
-The Sorrows of Arlathan
-Vestments of the Seer
-Cinch of Skillful Manuvering

So I shouldn't sell "The High Regard of House Dace" to Bodahn? That amulet is worth 21 sovereigns!

Im not sure on that one, I think it tranfers so you need to keep it.....
You can always make a impoted game to check and see, its not like it deletes your old saves.

Or use google to download a mod to transfer a whole lot more items then the game currently supports. For me nearly everything transfers.

Do Thoughtful Gifts transfer over? I'm having a hard time getting all my companions in DAA at max. I want to do their personal quests.
I think Stens Butterfly sword is the only item without some kinda mods(PC version only) that will tranfer.
I am unable to test at the moment.

dragonage.wikia.com/wiki/Forum:Items_that_don%27t_transfer_to_DLC/Awakenings
On PS3 (at least) none of The Stone Prisoner or Warden's Keep or
Promotional items transfer to Awakening or any other DLC. However beware
of wearing armor to glitch stats on your character as the fatigue of
the armor will also glitch onto your character... essentially making it
like your character if always wearing armor fatigue wise, even when
naked. And if you wear armor then fatigue wise it's like you have two
sets of armor on.

I did that and, yes, the Dace item transfers into DAA. Heh. I figure anything worth 21 sovereigns to a vendor must indeed be very valuable to the player.

P.S. I also had to install update version 1.05 when importing my character into DAA. Hmm. Is that the update that "synchronizes" which bonus items import and don't import and which bonus items appear in either or both DAO/DAA?
