Thought I'd ask this to the fans, would add more drama in general.
Just imagine a scenario where both of your LI's are kidnapped by the reapers and you have to pick one.

And either A:

They become indoctrinated and you'll probably kill them at the end of the game.

or B:

They die.

or C:

You cancel a mission which decreases your chance of beating the reapers or the other being once again choice B.
You guys think'd be cool or too much of a good thing?

It's an interesting idea, but with the combination of possible LIs (no LI at all, one ME LI but none in ME2, just one ME2 LI, both LIs, ME LI dead but ME2 LI alive, other way around, etc) I think it'd be too hard to implement, to be honest.

Some sort of optional sidequest involving Shepard's LI would be great, but presuming that s/he romanced two people over the course of two games may be too difficult to code for. Not to mention that many people would be new players for ME3 in any case.

I'd sacrifice the whole Batarian race if that put a smile on Kaidan's pretty face  Let alone some (any) mission...

Well I think a better way would be to do it between your LI and "best friend" (usually the most used squadmate lol.

The only LI that I truly like is Liara and I would do everything in my power to save her. The rest would be toast.

I'd really like for there to be some proper repercussions for cheating on your LI, not a simple 'forced to choose' moment. Or even worse: A paragon/renegade dialogue option to resolve the entire situation, keep both of them happy and then walk off with one of them as if nothing had happened.

Agreed there, Robhuzz.

What exactly would be a 'proper' repercussion? Your ME1 LI pretty much bounced on you, one is gearing up to start dating again when you appear, etc.

Hell, the letter they send is so vague it comes off as a more 'idk wtf to do anymore' more than anything else. I really dislike the devs using 'cheat' as a term in a relationship where Shepard died, was ripped back into life, and effectively b--ched out by their LI shortly thereafter. You even have the option to mention that 'it's over' on board afterwards.

Well, there is the "alternative," but we sure as hell shai'nt go there. Does one even do that in space? :alien::sick:
