I believe so. I can't remember who tweeted it (probably Casey Hudson though) but it was said that due to improved technology, BioWare could now add some more hairstyles, plus styles they always wanted to put in but couldn't due to tech restraints. I believe this is about longer hair.

Whether this means we'll get hairstyles like DA (EG long hair for males and stuff) remains to be seen. It's a safe bet we'll be getting some additional hairstyles though.
