Since the toolset uses Nvidia PhysX drivers, does that mean I have to have a Nvidia card to use it? Well maybe just part of it.

Without a hardware accelerator (Nvidia Physx car, or Nvidia GPU newer than GeForce 8 Seires) it will simply be calculated by the CPU.

There's no way they'd make a toolset that could only be run using Nvidia cards. They'd cut out half the people who own a PC!

The toolset only runs on the Commodore 64, the Atari 1040 and the Amiga!

this straight out of the wiki
The Dragon Age Toolset installer comes with several pieces of third-party software that are needed for the toolset to function. They are:
DirectX 9.0c
Visual C Runtime Library
Microsoft SQL Server Express 2005 Edition
Nvidia PhysX drivers
These components will be installed along with the toolset by the toolset's installer.

PhysX is now owned by nVidia, you no more have to have an nVidia card to run Nvidia PhysX than you need to work for Bioware to post on the Bioware Social Network.
