Doesn't matter if the design disappoints me a little but at least I'll know that she doesn't look all like James Vega underneath. I would feel really pissed and let down if they ended the franchise without showing what a single quarian looks like..

What if she looks like James Vega?
Or if she looks like Justin Bieber?
Or post-surgery Michael Jackson?
Because it WILL seem to some people like that. Just something for you to think. Also, I like creating horror images in other people's heads

They should show her face in my opinion. I'd prefer she be gorgeous. They should just base her face off of her voice actor and be done with it. If the player doesn't like it they should include the feature to make her face what you want. Beat the game and as part of the new game plus. you are given choices of what her face should be/make it yourself like how you make shepard look the way you want. I doubt this would happen but it would be an awesome feature.
I just have to say this, this is the silliest idea ever.

Tali is obviously beautiful. Shepard smiles when he discovered her face, and seems satisfied with what he sees, she is certainly charming.Neofelis Nebulosa wrote...

1: The "Human-like but sufficiently alien" group.
2: The "Really Alien but still cool looking" group. Kinda like Garrus or turians in general.
3: the "Face that only someone of the same species could ever feel anything but revulsion for" group. Those that subscribe to this category usually do to "Weed out the fake Talimancers so only the true ones that like her for her personality remain".
4: The "Don't show her face at all, it should remain a mystery" group.
No matter what Bioware will do, at least one group will be dissatisfied with the results. I have a feeling #1 is the most numerous with the second group in... well, second, so it will probably be something between 1 and 2.
As for me? make it attractive version of Sil from Species.

When we real-world humans make robots, we tend to try to make something that at least roughly resembles ourselves. I'm hoping Tali looks like an organic version of geth.ModestmeNTaLmogul wrote...

12.89% (1957) have voted no.
Seriously, a player who loves Mass Effect as a whole has no interest to see a potential development ignored.

Why not? Well, no matter what she looks like under there or how well a job the team does with the reveal, it will never live up to what I personally have in my own imagination. Don't get me wrong, I know if they choose to reveal her face, they will put a lot of time and effort into making it the moment fans have been waiting for. However, it just won't live up to what I have in my mind's eye.
Take, say, the Harry Potter films. I read the books before seeing the movies and even though I think the cast did an awesome job in the roles they were cast for, they weren't exactly what I had envisioned Dumbledore or house elves looking like, or Snape or dragons sounding like, etc. What was done was awesome work, but it was (for me) just a tiny bit wrong at the same time.
Before Tali's face is revealed there is huge speculation on what she looks like. Is she pretty or ugly, is she humanoid or more alien, nose or no nose, eye and skin color, etc. All the things fans have been guessing and speculating and fan arting for years now. Once we reveal her THAT is what Tali looks like. No more guessing or hoping or whatever. I know that if her face is revealed many people will be happy, but I know there will be those who are upset because we will have "got it wrong". We won't have gotten it wrong as we are the creators and what we say goes (yeah, I know how that sounds, but you get what I mean), but for those people we will have gotten it wrong as we won't have lived up to their vision of what she looks like.
So for me, I hope they don't reveal her face. I also get why people want to see it, but I prefer to leave it up to my imagination to determine her look. Still, I have no say in whether her face is shown or not. Casey and the team will weigh all the pros and cons and make the right choice and we'll all see whether they reveal it or not. Stay tuned.

I guess they have her look designed already somewhere though? Just in case?

The only thing I can't agree in what I read everywhere, it is to say that those who want to see the face of Tali would be less offended than those who do not want to. This isn't true, especially if we know the reason. ( fear, imagination, understandable, but difficult not up against the development and the revelation of a mystery. )
And now everybody will know the reason if it is the case.
Bioware will choose at the end. But there is no one side that will not be disappointed.
I hope that at least Bioware, will not do the same with the reapers... and say to us " we prefer to let the imagination and not reveal everything ...."
No, just no ! Don't please !
I want to know everything in the last episode.

Agree.
People love Tali because of her personality, dialogue and great voice acting. Showing her face wouldn't change anything. Some people would be happy, some would rage. I am agianst the idea about revealing her face aswell.
People need to learn "sometimes less is more".

Spiderface is a standin for "not attractive by any human standards" - which is what I'd actually want to see if they revealed Tali's face.

Tali is not Master Chief. You already revealed the face to the player-character, you can already see general hints of it under the mask. This is going to be the last game with Shepard and the last chance to reveal the face with any sort of real impact even though you skipped when you should've done it before.
She's not an enigma, only her physical appearance is just to induce a mystery. You've gotten mileage out of it for two games, why just not bother in the third?
