If I hear Tali's mysterious face is a defining factor for her character one more time, I swear to god I will scream.

Look, there are reasons why Tali is liked by many fans. Not that so called ''mystery'', it's her personality.
Even if Bioware unmasks her, some people will be pissed for their imagination has been destroyed. So damned if they do, damned if they don't.

Don't show her face. People act like it's the point of her character, when it's really not. I'd rather leave the writing to the professionals than the "fans". You know, people that are actually capable of writing characters and knows about the structure.

BioWare, don't listen to this forum. It doesn't know what the **** it's talking about.

I wouldn't mind if they show her face AND her boobs.

:D

Tali's face reveal scene will wind up being Shepard "accidentally" walking in on her in the shower at this rate.

Her suit is her bathroom, so technically he's walked in on her in the shower lots of times

Why must everything be laid open today? Mysteries abound - and Tali's face is one of them. And as such, I find that Bioware should not show her face in ME3. If they do (and I do say 'if), Bioware should not make face human, they should instead surprise the player...the gamers...they fan. Whether or they will be delighted will then remain to be seen.

Of course. That's why I'm saying that "mysteries" are nothing but cheap excuses to avoid doing something.
You have to take risks in life. And keeping her face hidden isn't the best way to go.

I dunno, we seem to have a general idea of what she looks like anyways, since you can see outlines through the mask. If not Tali, show a quarian at some point, so people can fill in the blanks (hair? no hair? human skin or scaly? etc).

I'm in favor of showing her face. I like Tali, but never had my Sheps romance her. They saw her as a nerdy kid sister, albeit important especially in ME1. They've already pissed off a certain percentage of fans by not showing it in ME2 and those numbers won't change much by showing it in ME3. As it stands right now I find it rather gimmicky and cliched not to show her face and just leave it out there 'maybe we will - maybe we won't.'

I say show it. Not because I'd like to know what Tali looks like, but because I want to see what a Quarian looks like. If they can find another Quarian to show us that is as important, Kal maybe, then by all means, show us. It shows us what a Quarian looks like, resolving that mystery, whilst keeping what Tali looks like still a relative unknown.

Either way, I don't mind that much. I'd prefer to see her face, but I won't complain if they don't as I understand why they wouldn't.

Best solution I've seen yet. Either way whether they show her face or not there will be rage among Tali fans. Might as well let them rage by not showing her face, less work for BioWare as well:pinched:

Yes, because when developers cut corners and get lazy we get a far better game.  Also, it sounds like you don't care much about Tali at all, so tell my why your opinion on seeing her face or not is worth anything?

I would prefer that they don't show Tali's face or any other quarian. there are some things we simply don't need to know. it could ruin what makes that species special to the story and it would likely fall below everyone's expectations anyway.

Well, not showing the face will result in a longer rage. Indefinitely longer rage.

Eff mystique. I want to see her face. Having my avatar (Shephard) see her face but being unable to see it myself was kind of a "haa ! fooled ya!" moment.

Show her face or atleast show what Quarians look like under their masks. Seriously how can there be no pictures of them in their natural state on the extranet?

I think they should do either:
A) Keep face hidden,
B) Make face something really weird and nonhuman.

Basically, whatever trolls people like the first guy on this page harder.

You're right.
If they show her face, there'll be rage, sure...but it won't last forever.
Not showing her face doesn't solve anything.

Yes, reduce one of the nagging questions in this series to "lol I troll u!"

There's a reason you're not making video games, you know.

Bottom line, if she isn't more beautiful than any human or asari, anywhere, the rage will be so hot it melts the sun. And since beauty is subjective, not revealing her face is not an unreasonable solution.

Are you reading this BioWare?

You have your instructions now.

Tali must look like an alien version of Audrey Hepburn.

It's not trolling.  I agree.

Tali shouldn't be attractive to humans or the romance loses whatever "our love goes beyond aesthetics and even race" appeal it endeavored to have.

I've said it before:  If Tali is even remotely attractive by human standards I will be profoundly disappointed in BioWare for pandering to the audience in spite of the character.

I find your ignorance of those comments amusing. He's said in another thread that the thing he did wasn't supposed to be taken seriously, but it's even more hilarious that the internet thought he was serious and made a huge ruckus about it.

Judging people and generalizing entire fanbases based on what a few people might have said is so ungodly pathetic and sad.

But, that's BioWare Social Network for you. Stupidity incarnate, and is not likely to change any time soon.

Fix'd.

The ends justify the means, in my eyes :)
