Either make her face completely Alien style or don't show it all. We already have Asari, Either way people will rage no matter what Bioware decides too do. Beatiful or ugly i don't care. I like her charachter and im not worried.
If Bioware could make us care and love the aliens with dinosaurs and frogs head (Turians and Drell).
I can't see how they would fail at not making good Quarian face.

If they follow the books Tali will look somewhat similar than that one (in)famous fanart pic of her making the rounds.

I hope they do show the face...I have faith bioware's artists will do a good job...and at least if they do reveal it the whining will eventually cease whereas if they don't it will just continue until they do.

I don't really care what she looks like, but they have to show it. It's been built up over two previous games. Bioware should deliver.

I've said it before:  If Tali is even remotely attractive by human standards I will be profoundly disappointed in BioWare for pandering to the audience in spite of the character.

I agree entirely.  We already have the "pointlessly sexy space elf" race in the form of the asari.  The quarians should look... well, alien.

I agree with both views. The asari look half-human already, the quarians should look alien. It would add some weight to the choice of romancing Tali...as well as make Shepard out to be a total douche if the player dumps her after seeing her face.

But if you romance her... technically Shepard has already seen her face. I think if they show it it will be something wear her suit gets damaged... possibly a death scene?

I don't care if she's super ugly or the prettiest face in the entire game, I just want to know what she looks like.

****** people off, they'll get over it.

But if they are debating it, I guess that means they don't even know. Which I can't understand, even though her face is covered up, you can still see parts of her face... So they got to have some face model they use under her suit.

Leave Tali, and the quarians as a whole, a mystery. I find the idea that nobody except a quarian really knows what the quarian race looks like to be both interesting and tragic.

I'd say I prefer to see quarian face - not Tali's, another quarian, to give us an idea what it may look like but not destroying the differences in perception completely

My solution would be to show another Quarian's face, probably even a male like Kal'Reegar, so they community would know what features a typical Quarian has (crazy examples: spine hair, tempanic membrane ears, 4 nostrils, glowing cat eyes) or whatever, but still not know exactly what Tali herself looks like. People who don't want to see her face won't, and people who do want to see it will at least have an idea for more accurate fanart.

I'll be happy so long as she doesn't like a human, or a space-elf or something.

So they have a 50:50 choice. The best way to solve the problem for them would be to toss a coin. :D

That is what I think too.  To be honest, I don't want to know.

Actually they need to figure out how Quarians look. There's hint that suggest that Quarians are the most beautiful race in the galaxy before they were cast out by geth. Also, Shephard was very excited to see Tali's face in ME2.
After the Reapers are killed off (maybe) in the end of Mass Effect 3, they'll probably like to show that the outcast races have been reinstated as council races where the Raccni are aceepted by all, the Turians are woking in harmony with the Krogan and the Quarians have regained their homeworld WITHOUT THE NEED OF ENVIRONMENTAL SUITS and living in perfect harmony with the geth.
If bioware do intend to have an ending as I wrote above, then I'd also like to give caution not to reveal quarians face just for the sake of showing their face. Make the reveal make sense with the story
Quarians wont come out of their suit before they have gradually adapted to the environment of their homeworld. Conversation with Tali in ME2 suggested that could take generations. So, it may not even happen in Mass Effect 3.
Maybe it will happen in Mass Effect 4 which will be a next gen game that takes place 50000 years after Mass Effect 3 where all the races have made incredible advancements and single Alpha Reaper alone rises to extinguish organic life in the galaxy and a new protagonist rises up to the challenge.

hmmm...

SOLUTION FOR EVERYONE:

Show another Quarian. We get a basic concept of Tali's face, but we still don't know for sure.

Since I'm a real sucker for plot, I'd rather have it in a way that makes sense to the plot. Otherwise, don't bother.

I think part of the whole allure of Tali is that people DON'T know exactly what she looks like, so they use their imagination, and regardless of physical attraction, the people that think she's hot, think so because of her personality. It''s quite brilliant actually. I think showing her face would ruin that whole allure about her.
