Do NOT link the official bioware site. It is useless, the "link to the CD key" takes me to the bioware hompage. I login there, it takes me here. I click link again, it takes me to the bioware homepage, etc. I'm pretty ticked off right now because this should NOT be this difficult. I purchased Mass Effect on Steam recently, but there does not seem to be any place to download the DLC anymore!

The bioware community site is down, which is why you are being redirected to the bioware homepage. You will need to contact EA Support through a live chat to get a cd key for BDTS.

Having the same problem. Wanted to play Mass Effect after a long time but don't want to start it without DLCs. Also I can't login to EA Support. It just redirects me back to the login screen. So there's no way to contact the support -.- It's really annoying...

You have to login to your EA account to access EA Support. If you don't have an EA account, you will have to create one.

Tech support guy asked me for my ME CD key. Not sure if it matters which account you're logged into, but I would think (to avoid possible "complications") it should be the same one...just in case.
Again, I had my CD key for ME, so I just gave it to him, and he gave me the key for BDtS. In that case, it probably didn't matter. It's probably best to keep them the same to cut down on the confusion too. They're having a hard enough time as it is.

I think I solved it! Well atleast I can login to support now. What I think could have been the problem - that my full name has non-english alphabet letters. I changed them to others and now it works! I have recreated this bug by switching the letters 5 times now and it worked ( or rather didn't work) every time. Hope this helps anyone with the same problem.
Go to: http://www.ea.com/profile change your full name and try to relogin to ea support.
