RinpocheSchnozberry, your comment is offensive, more than a little to me, as I'm sure to other users.
Please keep sexism out of this thread.

Still, she looks as if she might serve drinks in that bar on the Normandy.
And Liara's coat-tails? What's up with those? Are those to remind us she's an archaeologist and scientist? Good grief.

For Ashley she looks very good.
I'll take this armor on the normandy, and a true armor in the fight.

Huh. Kaidan, Ashley and James all have a symbol on their armor. Ashley's looks like some sort of bird - which I guess it supposed to symbolize "pheonix". I can't make out what Kaidan's and James are though.
It looks like some sort of bull on James. And Kaidan, I think it's a bird. An eagle, I think.

Ashley looks good too, looks more like a tunic over pants to me, rather than a mini dress whatever.
Vega looks like a total meat head, and I like that, I hope his character is the same and has head butting competitions with Grunt.
I like Liara's outfit, perhaps minus the head band, but it is difficult to tell from that pose where she does look like she's in the middle of smelling one of her own farts.

People want female characters to be dressed appropriately for combat like the male characters.Jimtp wrote...
ok ive posted this in another thread but since it was closed I'll post it here as well
I dont realy get whats the problem with hot women in ME people had this same problem with Mianda ,who by the way was on of the best chars of ME2.Ashley at last became presentable it's not like she shows a lot of skin or cleavage.
And my question for you is how was Ashley not 'presentable' in ME1?

Ashley's top is a crotch-length tunic. Her boots are thigh-highs.

Terrible from a strictly photographical standpoint.Pups_of_war_76 wrote...
Javier, why are these so terrible?
The lighting and posture of Vega, and Liara, and the lighting on Ash's face seem like pre renders and in fact look quite different from what we've seen in the E3 Demos.

Liara looks a little off in that picture, but I think it's the angle. I like her default look from what I've seen so far anyway, so I'm not too fussed about that.
Vega.... uh. He looks like one of those people who overdoses on steroids and ends up with a head the size of a melon. I'm not too fussed about what he looks like, but his expression screams "I'm so badass and cool! all of those CoD players will relate to me!"
I'm being prejudiced here, though. For all I know he could end up being an incredibly well-written character, so I'll wait and see.

Ash looks good. That looks more like a long jacket than a skirt. And she is definitely not wearing heels. Heck, it looks much better than her original armor in ME1, which was so form fitting that it left little to the imagination. If you looking for the ladies to look like men in their armor, its not like that was ever the case in mass effect.
+1, maybe women in the ME universe like to be in the heat of battle and look fabulous too???

Kaidan is a Sentinel. Not an Infiltrator or Vanguard. He wore only Light Armor in ME1.Reapinger wrote...
I thought Kadian could wear Medium in ME1? But as for Ashley at least they covered her cleavage.
He was the original Mr. Catsuit, but at least you could see plates in all the right places so he got away with it. In ME2, they gave him big shoulder plates that were originally found on Medium armor
But anyway, as glad as I am that they didn't make Ash's V-neck anything close to Samara's atrocity, that's by no means a 'positive aspect'... it's just 'not an atrocity' (lack of a negative aspect).
By the way, on the subject of people arguing about Ash's boob size, because I know it's come up time and again... for someone who argues for heavy plated Ash, I don't see what the problem here is.
Everyone in ME1 had the same damn boob size because they all used the same character model, even Shepard. Why is it bad for people to get their own physiques? Would it have only been a good thing for Ash's boobs to suddenly turn in to cherries? This is really the wrong thing to be complaining about if you want a more better more battle-focused Ash.

The only one that's jarring for me is Liara's. Namely her forehead faceplates and it looks more like a wetsuit than armor I've seen in ME. I had wished the faceplates on the forehead to be just for justicarsrynluna wrote...
The "armors" shown in the pic look really stupid. *waits for ME fanboys/girls to attack her*

Absolutely 200%. Individual character models are always a plus.

Yup. Hate that headgear. The pose, with her chin jutted out like that makes her look a little strange too.

Yeah, I don't like the faceplate thing on her. I hope we can take it off.

Precisely. Photographically, these are terrible portraits (can't really be sure on Vega and Kaidan is fine), as they do not seem to represent the character inside.

You're seriously going to judge her entire character in ME3 from what's obviously a terrible picture?SalsaDMA wrote...
Her gaze is dead on the picture. They sure took the fire out of her spirit it seems...
No, but I couldn't help notice how dead her gaze looked in that picture. compare with Kaid and Vega and you see more... life... in their eyes. Ash looks... disinterested, a dead gaze, so to speak.
Liara (if that really is her, she looked more like Samara to me, except for the clothes) wasn't looking too good either.
The guys in that pic look great, but the girls faces/gazes don't look good.
