Yeah...I'm not betting money on the power ranger outfit going away but who knows maybe the backlash a few week's back about Ashley armour resulted in BW having a re-think.

it did happen with Isabela's face (only her face tho)

so who knows?

I don't even understand where this pic is from, besides photobucket and a portugese forum. Is this a fan made bit? Does this have anything to do with the actual game devs. presentation? I'd like to know the source b4 I give a damn.

I love how the people who believe that Casey's statement means "do not worry you'll be able to dress Ash in tank armor anytime you want" are berating those who are taking his words "****** grano salis" and are going by what we know so far and the ME2 experience

lovely

Casey said a long time ago that VS would have a major role in M3. Nobody believed him. Does he lied ?

If only the weapons weren't just the DLC weapons with new skin on them.

I can't believe people are whining about something like this. THESE ARE COLLECTOR EDITION EXCLUSIVE ARMORS! They're a bonus, AND they're optional! *** hell, this forum.

stop

think back about ME2's alternative outfits (aside for Miranda's), think back about the In-Game shots we have of Ash

apologize for acting obtuse

I think what a lot of people don't realise is that while these pics are of the Collectors Edition armor, from what we know we can be pretty sure that they're retextures of the characters' default armor from the standard game. Helly, we've seen 3 of the 4 already in their standard colours.

Uhm, what? These are not the alternative outfits. These are the exclusives that comes with the CE of the game. What are you trying to say? And why would I apologize?

I wonder if we'll get pandering of the other persuasion in ME3.  It certainly existed in ME2.

Perhaps, but I dunno if Jacob by himself balances out... everything else.  He'd probably try to, seems like it would be a good workout.

All I'm saying is that James is going to have to lose a lot of that armor in his other appearances if he even wants to approach Jacob's level of over-sexualization.  For your consideration...

wait....nobody believed them??

since when?

the vast majority of people KNEW that the VS and Liara were left out of ME2's suicide mission SOLELY because were gonna be central in ME3

what the hell are you on about?

also, notice that I explicitly said that he mentions "she will also have armor and helmet" and not "you'll be able to equip her with armor and helmet all the time". I am not saying he lied I am saying people are adding meaning to his words....meaning that is just NOT there

Yeah, Grunt's outfit was totally out of line.  I mean, if you think about it, he's only a baby.

you do realize that they look exactly like the in game outfits we've seen in demos and promotional materials already... just iddferent colors?

now compare it to alternate packs for ME2 where outfits are DISTINCTLY DIFFERENT from their in game counterparts?  these outfits (and for that matter weapons) are not exclusive by a long shot, unless you think that changing a tint of something makes it exclusive?

1: we know Ash is wearing the "catsuit" in game, we have ingame footage of her wearing it
2: people were seriously hoping these alternative appearances for the CE would include a decent armor for her (not the case as you see)
3: in ME2 alternative outfirs were only reskinned/retextured versions of the originals hence chances are it will be the very same situation for ME3

once you take into consideration all of these 3 factors then you can understand why people who wanted a coherent look for Ash are pissed

So, isn't it sexy enough with the good armour? (If her character needs more sexy)

Casey has understood the complaints of whinners like you. He knowed what you wanted, at bioware they can read you know and they are not idiots.

The answer that was made in response to your complaint in many topics a month ago, was clearly in line with what you thought. Yes a true armor for Ashley.

I was being facetious.  You might want to check your statements before jumping down someone's throat, even if they deserve it.

I was wondering when these would surface.

These are concepts (so may not be final) of the weapons and appearances available in the Collector's Edition of Mass Effect 3. They were given out to a bunch of retailers some time ago. I guess they weren't called out previously as they are not final and maybe the retailers didn't want to show art that wasn't final?

If anything, you certainly got some feedback on the concepts here then...

They aren't.

Look more closely. They actually have changes to the structure of the weapons, too, and the SMG is a re-model of the Tempest, not a re-model of the Locust. The shotgun is a particularly serious re-model, as is the sniper rifle, and the pistol is the smallest re-model.

The Liara outfit doesn't look like the her Shadow Broker outfit that she wore in the E3 demos.

That facepalm worthy getup Liara is in, is plastered all over the marketing materials for the Pre-Order, on the EA store site. If its not final, why is it being used in that capacity?

please do point out where Casey says "you will be able to equip her in full armor at all times" and I will believe you. Casey could have said that but he obviously chose a sybilline statement. There is a reason why people do that.

Also, good job calling the skeptics whiners! That toally makes your point look more valid
