So Ashley is wearing that outfit because her Spectre duties have her operating undercover as a flight attendant in the 1970s? The bird on her collar is obviously some airline's logo.
Vega looks like a fun character. As he isn't armed in this picture, I am going to take that as confirmation that his weapon of choice is headbutting his opponents into oblivion. He also has a mounted cavalier on his breast; perhaps, much like Shepard's omni-blade, he gets an omni-lance? Not for stabbing people with, but I imagine he just likes to hold while charging forward to execute a leaping headbutt.
Liara is wearing an odd expression, as though she's somehow found herself in a Scooby-Doo mystery....
That's it!
- Liara is bookish, intelligent, and a bit introverted. She's obviously Velma.
- Ashley, on the other hand, is extroverted, outspoken, yet somewhat ignorant, and obviously is only there for eye candy. Which would make her Daphne.
- Kaidan is the quiet, unassuming and world-weary guy who'd rather not be there, but is reliable never the less. Also, in ME:1, he was never far away from the mess hall. I think that makes him a lock for Shaggy.
- The Collectors' Edition comes with a robot dog. Scooby-Doo himself? I think so.
- Of course, Shepard is the leader, comes up with ridiculous plans that always seems to work, and is on a personal mission to collect as many STDs as possible. N7 stripes, or orange ascot, Shepard and Fred might as well be the same person.
- As for Vega? Scrappy-Doo, for all the obvious reasons.
...and we're done here.

Oh, thanks, but don't bother, I fully understand why Miranda is dressed like that;)Vertigo_1 wrote...
I'm saying just because she's a sentinel doesn't mean she has to be in the front lines. Her personality never aluded to that. See: the Minuteman conversation before Freedoms Progress.
Anyway this is slighlty OT and was discussed in the support thread...it can be brought up there again...

About "Kaidan in catsuit" - well, I prefer having my squaddies armoured, but the fact that his meduim armour doesn't match with caster specialization disturbs me. The last thing I want to see in ME3 is Kaidan moving from my personal favourite "Suppoting" squadmate specialisation to least used "Tank".

Kaiden looks like more of a soilder than a Sentinel now. Could be the whole induction to the Spectre thing. Ashley looks good. Her look reflects a maturity that she's gained. She looks less hotheaded and judgemental. Her outfit is quite alright and doesn't need to be changed. Having the option for her outfit is always a good thing. James Vega looks like a tank. Someone very seasoned. Like a less psychotic version of Zaeed. Don't know about the haircut though. Matter of fact, Vega (If that really is him) looks more like a merc. Ah yes, Liara. Her makeover looks fine as well. The (biotic enhancing) tiara is a standard with the Asari simply because they don't have protruding ears which the (bluetooth like) ear attachment would go. Her outfit is mostly a color change from LotSB but it's still a nice color scheme nonetheless. There'll probably be a DLC armor scheme for her similar to Miranda's in ME2.crusher1990 wrote...
I was browsing this portuguse forum and I found this pic. Not sure If it was posted here yet.

Edit:
N7 Pistol
N7 SMG
N7 Shotgun
N7 Sniper Rifle
Found higher res pics of N7 weapon pack.
The weapons don't really do it for me though. They look too familiar. I was hoping that the CE would bring more visual flash and not just new skins. Hopefully the Alliance has been working on new weapons that would be made available to Shep and squad in a similar fashion as Cerberus doing it in ME2. Nice heads up. Greatly appreciated.

What ever they dress her in will be fixed within minutes of release, at least in my game.

He's a dude that woke up one morning, showered, ate a bowl of lucky charms, brushed his teeth, polished his cyborg monacle, then went to the closet and thought to himself, Hmmmm.... What outfit best goes with my broad, pointy mohawk, and this handsome face?Mash Mashington wrote...

Then, after a moment's browsing around, said aloud, "Oh yeah! This tank!" Which he proceeded to put on, one leg at a time.

This is enough for me, along with Casey Hudson's promise.Chris Priestly wrote...
Because we send out the material with what is ready when it is needed. If we had waited to have final art before soliciting pre-orders, people would still be waiting and the announcement would not have been made at E3. Once the final art is finished, sites will be updated.
It is all a question of timing.
Have you not seen other games or toys, statues, comics, etc with "not final art" when solicited? I buy a copy of Previews magazine every month to help me plan what to buy for upcoming comics and toys and there is always materials liek that inside. It is what is done in the industry.
Of course I'll probably be chasing Casey with a broom should I be proven wrong in the next 8 months.

I've often defended Bioware's depictions of the female form. They're good at it, just look at the Asari strippers, bloody hell, as sexy as it gets. But for Ashley - a major character - I want them to step out of their element and make her straight-up practical. Badass. No contour armor just ready to kill. They need to do this.Welsh Inferno wrote...
Really if BW just gets rid of the stockings, thigh high boots part i could totally see ash wearing it as casual-wear.

James Vega.. Wow.. I hope his character is atleast some-what interesting and he actually gets up close a lot of the time with that armour.
He's the kind of guy who rocks into battle with a pair of giant metal boots, a fauxhawk, and a stupid expression on his face. How could he be anything but interesting?
