The head dressing I'll give a shot. I'm more worried about it being a hint of Liara becoming a Justicar. But if it's just a fashion statement, I see if I like it. Won't tell till in game.

She had no skirt - it was a coat. And yes, she had light armor, because she's a biotic.

People aren't complaining about Ash's outfit itself, it's the fact that she's the one wearing it.

I do hope they fix Liara's arm for her character selection pose. I just don't like where it is.

I don't have a problem with Liara's look myself, other than the head thingy. But her outfit looks more than fine to me, not sure why people dislike it.

Also, Nyoka's Ash should be in the game.

good, but you've given her manly hips...  I definitely like the white and blue armour of the first shopped picture.

Personally, the reason I don't like Ashley's "armor" isn't because of the armor itself, but rather because it's on her. I think it would look awesome on Miranda. But it just doesn't suit the ME1/2 Ashley. So I fear they have either completely changed her personality, or simply put her into armor that makes no sense considering her character. I know I'm reading too much into one picture, but... Ashley was one of my favorite ME1 characters, and I'm really hoping BW didn't try to make her overly "girly".

Yup, that seems to be the general consensus. Personally I do love the outfit, and on Miranda it would look great. But considering Ashley has even stated in dialogue that she prefers solid armor and mocked clothing similar to what she's now in, you have to wonder if her personality was even considered when designing the new outfit.
