They said you can put armor on her and give her a helmet, so until I see anything that proves otherwise, that's what I'm going with. And while I don't agree with the choice, I think saying she's made like that for 'sex appeal' is a bit silly, since, well...it isn't sexy. It's just a normal looking outfit. In fact, it looks like something she'd be just fine walking around with as casual wear.

Nice, in my opinion they all look nice. I like Ashely much more in that armor than in her normal armor.

Kaidan is the only one who looks good there, and I hate him. Ashley's "armor" continues to be a massive joke, Vega looks like a complete retard and that outfit isn't Liara at all.

One reasonably wouldn't do that just because of an outfit. Now, if Ash's PERSONALITY is changed way too significantly, even as an Ash-lover, I can see that level of rage being reasonable.

I disagree. We have the right to criticize ME devs because they single out female characters for exploitation which IRL would be a death-sentence against women in combat situations.

Samara's voice-acting and personality were agreeable for me. But I look upon BioWare with contempt anyway because they insisted on making her visual appearance a sexist joke. Same with Miranda.

I don't blame them. I find the repetitive threads about the character appearances to be funny just because of how much the people on here freak out.

This thread on alternate costumes for 4 characters is less than a day old and yet it is already over 40 pages!   There is a recent thread linking to quite a good interview (imo) with a couple of devs and it has already slipped to the second page of the General Discussion forum.  Sometimes you have to wonder about BSN members and their priorities

I think ALL the characters look pretty badass. Ash looks like she has more mobility, maybe she received extra training in infiltration and stealth. Vega looks like several guys I know, uppper body strength is key for a soldier on extended deployments.

The whole point of Mass Effect's style is to be retro-futuristic in a sense. It's always been that way. Why do you think they'd start making things incredibly pragmatic or 'Realism-is-Brown' GOW style all of a sudden?

So your assuming that the military is suddenly going to decide its a good idea to create uniforms that are meant to accentuate a recruits femininity?

Truthfully though,  I think Ash soon sport the high and tight...  I don't see the point in keeping your hair when your off to war.
