I guess they weren't called out previously as they are not final and maybe the retailers didn't want to show art that wasn't final?

Well this is good news...so I can hold out hope that Liara wont end up looking so sickly in ME3? I think its the pink hue to her nose and eyes. It's like she has pink-eye and a cold.

I do really like how the new armor is looking though, at least on the male characters.

Yes, but I think Biowares concept of armor is different to most of the people posting here.  I don't think a 'battle-mini' should be considered armor, but it appears that Bioware do.

In any case, it's nice to see that so many people who want heavier armour for Ashley are using this thread as an opportunity for photo-manipulation.  I'm hoping for something that seriously stops damage as well, when we finally see the promised helmet and armour.  But, until then, why not make fan art?  It's not like we have much else to amuse ourselves with, ME-wise, during our years-long wait.

This post kinda dumb. Yeah, I've been posting here for about a month, but the complaining doesn't really bother me. It just perplexes me how some folks complain about something that seems already solvable.

You'll be pleased to know that BioWare LISTENS to our feedback, at least, they SAY they do. So it's not pointless. We just want BioWare to know that amidst all the omni-blades, Kinect commands, customizable weapon mods, and rolling into cover, many of us do actually care about the CHARACTERS, and we want those characters to have a consistent through-line in the narrative. If that bothers you, I'd suggest sticking to threads that don't discuss such things. I'm sure the weapon mod threads are rather peaceful by comparison. But coming into a thread complaining about the complaining? Yeah, you might not want to call someone else "dumb"...

Please you don't know anything about the style change it could be none combative gear and she's holding the gun because someone in the Bioware Art Department thought it looked good. Just wait for god damn information before you start yelling from the roof tops that it's not what Ash would wear.

And we likely have to pay extra for that.

Really?  I have to pay extra to put sensibility back into a character that's supposed to be sensible already?  This has EA's hands all over it.  They'll put in garbage that people who care about character integrity will hate and sell stuff that'll make said character better again.  If that's at all possible.  Ashley's writer isn't with Bioware anymore.  I've had misgivings about what would be done to her character and they pull this nonsense?  Sure I'm going to just be comfortable with the wait and see approach. <_<

riiight... and that armor that Kaiden, Vega, and even liara is wearing are their casual, non combative suits too... pfffft. 

We are going to complain as much as we can for the dim hope that bioware sees that they are going about Ashley all wrong so far. We just want to see one of our favortie characters they way she should be... not the malibu barbie version...
