He looks like he's ready for herping some derp, not for war.SoaringHawk82 wrote...
I don't know, I kinda like the meat head look. From what we know of him, it may very well suit his character. Just looking at the pic, I take it that he's the human equivalant of a krogan beserker. An absolute monster on the battlefield just doesn't go well with a boyish face.

Stupid b*tch, I give her a machine gun and yet she sticks with her goddamn pistol, pops all her bullets and then when she's out of ammo, instead of switching to the gun I gave her she runs off to look for more pistol bullets!
And even more annoyingly if I so much get a scratch she wastes an entire health pack/weed-spray thing!

Not fond of Liara's outfit. Samara called, dear, she says she wants her clothes back. (What have you two been up to?!)
Seriously though, Liara, don't try and be someone you're not, it's not your style. We already have (or had..) one Asari dressing up and pretending to be Samara, we don't need another. Her Shadow Broker outfit looks fine, thankfully, so I'll be sticking with that.
Kaidan, my man, you are looking as handsome and dashing as ever. *cries tears of joy* Good to see they've fixed up your hair (I see the spikes! Sexy!), though it didn't really bother me too much previously. Your armor looks badass.
James reminds me of Hoyt Fortenberry from True Blood. The armour is very bulky.. that can't be comfortable. That visor thing is slightly annoying as well. Still, I am not going to discount him entirely. It will be interesting to see how he develops as the fresh and naive recruit into something... stronger? I wouldn't mind if they did a bit of work on his face though, make him a bit more handsome.

Chris does the exact same thing....stupid d*ckhead, I gave him a machine gun and this dumb f*ck went around firing one shot at a time. How f**king stupid is that?

Erm, you're saying it's okay for Kaidan to wear heavy armor because he has stated no opposition to heavy armor, yet you say it's okay for Ashley to wear light armor in spite of her stating opposition to light armor?Filament wrote...
I don't think it's strictly out of character for either Kaidan to be wearing heavy armor (yeah he was a sentinel, but aside from a rather arbitrary class distinction about what sentinels can wear, does he have some philosophical opposition to heavy armor?) or for Ashley to progress to ME3 as an infiltrator. I did say the specific outfit was out of character, but the notion of her wearing light armor in general? Not necessarily.

She comes in second place as my favorite female from the Resident Evil series. First is Claire, Ada Wong might be in third place. Fourth.. Rebecca Chambers? I was never that crazy over Jill Valentine. She just didn't interest me.

Yeah, that's why you need to have a co-op partner to play that game. Chris is equally stupid if you play AS Sheva.
Nonetheless, regardless of Combat AI Fail, Sheva is a GORGEOUS character model.

If her character develops in such a way as to shift in preference toward light armor, yes. Note I did not say 'impractical light armor.' Just light armor. But she could also be wearing heavy armor, yes, and Kaidan could also be wearing light armor. I'm speaking in terms of what's within the realm of believability... beyond that I'm okay with the devs choosing what direction to go as they see fit.

Ashley looks more like a security officer of some local force...
Vega looks like he came from Gears of War and took the ridiculous hair Kaidan had in ME1 borrowed. And by the way, only Garrus looks badass using a visor...
And Liara seems to be wearing a light armor. But i hope she has a helmet because that tiara looks ridiculous.
I always prefered armor than clothes...<_<

What I'm saying is, why use that argument for Kaidan's outfit when it means nothing to you as an argument against Ashley's?Filament wrote...

It's like people who use the 'they don't really NEED armor' argument in terms of what women in-game wear, but never consider why nearly every male is wearing it in that case. It's a double-standard.

Yep, double standards are bad. If this is Ashley's combat gear, I want Kaidan in footed pajamas, Mordin in a wife-beater and cutoffs, and Garrus in a prom dress. After all, if it's just for looks, it doesn't matter what those looks ARE...

Friend: I bloody hate carrying the torch. You carry the torch. I want to fight the zombies!
Me: No! You're the torch carrier because you are the one already carrying the torch! Now hurry this way ... No, nono NO! THIS. WAY.
Friend: WHAT WAY?!
Me: THIS WA- *Game over*
Good times...

I'm not using the argument for or against anything. I'm not saying Kaidan should be wearing heavy armor. I'm saying he could be because there's nothing in his character preventing him from doing so. I'm not saying Ashley shouldn't be wearing heavy armor. I'm just saying it's plausible that she might not be if certain character developments have taken place. It's also plausible that Kaidan would have an aversion to heavy armor if certain character developments took place, or that if Ashley didn't have such character development she should still prefer heavy armor. Or even if she did have such character development (becoming an infiltrator), it's plausible she would still prefer heavy armor.

But you listed that as something that would theoretically prevent him from doing so. Yet that is something that Ashley explicitly stated and your opinion seems to be that what she said doesn't matter because people change. So why bring it up at all?Filament wrote...

I think the color combo clashes, but I don't see why a red recolor of her outfit makes people honestly think she's turned into a Justicar.
